"We really enjoyed our stay. The location was very convenient to Santa Barbara shops & restaurants. The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. My only complaint is that, despite a hefty cleaning fee, guests are expected to strip the beds, collect the linens and empty the trash before leaving. Seems like an unnecessary nuisance, especially since some of us had early flights, so had to get up extra early to do the housework.We had 7 adults in our group and there was room for all of us, and...

"We loved the original intent of the hosts to create a very unique and comfortable getaway. Unfortunately guests are not always thoughtful in caring for vacation rentals and The Coop has not been maintained in the manner it deserves. Even though the rates charged are premium, it felt like we were staying in a second tier property. I felt like we had a good connection with the manager and reported several of our concerns. The response was “well no one has ever complained about that”."

"A beautiful home to stay in for 4 adult couples-the view out the back is lovely and you will end up wanting to spend a lot of your time here in this comfortable homey atmosphere. "We went for a bachelorette party and it was perfect. Keith and JD were amazing hosts who were so communicative, gave great recommendations, and helped us the whole weekend like bringing more ice, setting up our fire, etc. The home is also in a great location with 7 Dalmatians and horses on the property! Can't recommend this place enough! "

"We were visiting Santa Barbara to attend a funeral, along with my siblings and their grown children. There was plenty of space to spread around, and the main casita was home base for the evening and breakfast. The outdoor amenities were a huge plus, and it felt like a private oasis. The owner lives nearby and was attentive to any needs and requests. "

"Hi! we booked for six but had just four. The listing said 3 beds and 3 baths. But the house had only 2 baths which made it tighter than expected, so I'm super glad there were 2 less people. The number of baths was super important and the primary reason I booked it instead of hotel. If the 3rd bath was in the extra $ trailer in back, it was not clear. otherwise, a nice place, albeit tiny. Thank you! "
