"My sister and I wanted a place near East Beach so we could easily walk everywhere. The place isn't fancy but clean and very comfortable. The neighborhood feels safe and is very quiet. I really appreciated the good quality beach chairs, towels, and umbrella available for our use. Tri County Produce is just 2 blocks away and has all the basics. Next time I won't even rent a car (even though it was no problem finding street parking). We enjoyed walking on the bike path to get coffee and then...

"Hi! we booked for six but had just four. The listing said 3 beds and 3 baths. But the house had only 2 baths which made it tighter than expected, so I'm super glad there were 2 less people. The number of baths was super important and the primary reason I booked it instead of hotel. If the 3rd bath was in the extra $ trailer in back, it was not clear. otherwise, a nice place, albeit tiny. Thank you! "

"Very comfortable home and fabulous view. We were a little alarmed when we arrived and just saw a dirt/gravel driveway and no house!. We found it with no problem and there was plenty of parking. We also loved being able to have our dogs with us. It was a great location for a family wedding with many events taking place downtown."

"The hosts were very nice and accomodating. Staying in Carpenteria was a perfect location. Walking to the beach is not practical but it's only less than a five minute drive to Loon Point. We all appreciated having our own bedrooms and each having our own bathroom too. The layout of the house worked well and were comfortable relaxing in the home. All amenities were thoughtfully provided. The background noise of the 101 freeway took getting used to but does not outweigh the benefits of this lovely...

I loved being walking distance to restaurants and shopping— saw the Dodgers win the first night of the World Series at the Nugget, breakfast at the Summerland Beach Cafe… I felt like I was part of a friendly, delightful neighborhood!"
