Total elegance is not an overstatement. High-ceilinged, spacious & accommodating with large French windows overlooking the charming 3 bronze geese in the Marche des Oies. The kitchen was outstanding, equipped enough for a gourmet cook. Salon & bedroom were very attractive, graciously enhanced by beautiful antique fireplaces. The bed was king-sized & comfortable. The apartment was splendidly situated to enjoy the enchanting town. It actually was perfect except for: no instructions how to work the space-age appliances; no instructions where to leave the garbage; no heat in the hair dryer; scratchy, small towels; no internet for a couple of days; ungenerous necessities like shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, very small coffee mugs & wine glasses….Otherwise, for 5 wonderful days, it was a superb combination of beautiful heritage and contemporary amenities. We didn’t use the 2nd bedroom which was strangely outside the main apartment.
