Love this old house!
It is so much fun to stay in a neighborhood. People we chatted with, walking to Penny’s Kitchen and down to the locks. A great place to visit Sault Ste Marie. The apartment was more space than my husband and I needed but we so enjoyed being there. Were very interested to see it and we were not disappointed. We are in our 60’s and pretty active. The stairs were not a problem but we understood they were there. So no surprise! Hope to come again. Thank you for having us

Great Space
Apartment was perfect for our needs. Super clean. We were able to work during the day and walk to the quaint downtown area in the evenings. Would recommend when visiting Sault Ste Marie.

Walk to the locks
We loved stayung in this old house. It had everything we needed for our long weekend in Sault Ste Marie. Walking distance to downtown, the locks, and all the museums. Very comfotable with the windows open for a little breeze. The neighborhood is plenty quiet and peaceful. Great house!

Clean, spacious, and great location
The property had everything we needed, and lots of space to spread out with four of us. We stayed in the top floor unit. It was clean and well organized. Quiet location, but within walking distance to shopping and the locks. Check in and out was super easy.

Spacious top floor
Nice little set up. Suggested a couple more towels and pillows for future guests. Host was very attentive. Walkable to everything and no issues with the stairs. (We are 50’s). Quiet during our stay. We cooked two meals in and the kitchen had all we needed.

Great rental
The location was perfect. Just a short walk to the water with all the shops and restaurants. The only downside was the bedrooms in the unit got a little warm even with the AC unit running. There are fans in the bedroom to help circulate air but we’re still a little warm. Overall great place to stay to be close to Soo Lock.

Challenging access
Rental looked new and well decorated and furnished. Definitely a shortage of bath and kitchen linens and towels. My husband and I are 75+ and would not recommend this rental to anyone over 50. Stairs were steep and difficult (third floor). Carrying luggage was impossible. The locations mentioned were not walkable locations. Dorothy Grow

Historic beauty
This unit was much larger than I'd thought from the pictures. It's decorated beautifully, drawing attention to the historic charm. This place has character! The host was very easy to contact, and when we had a question, she answered immediately. It's within an easy 2-5 block walk to several area attractions. I wish we could've stayed longer! Practically speaking, the water pressure was good, lots of outlets, balcony in the photo is not accessible for safety reasons, and there are lots of stairs. We were more than satisfied with our stay. We'll absolutely book this unit again!

Stairs
This place was perfect for what we were doing. Very clean and a cool studio apartment. There are 56 ish steps from the bottom to the top floor where this apartment is located. If anyone has a disability or can't climb steps, this isn't the place for you. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!

Excellent, super clean apartment
The apartment is very nicely and recently renovated, well appointed, clean as a whistle, spacious. The host was quickly responsive and communicative , and clearly cares for the comfort and satisfaction of her guests. A very enjoyable stay which made the many steps to third floor apartment entirely worth the effort.

Lovely apt
Love the feel of history in the town and the UP in general. Very pretty from outside to inside. Easy to walk back too: Just look for the (peculiar) tower of history!
