Dirty Cabin
We booked for our 6th anniversary. When we arrived, the door code did not work. Had to call 800 number times get new code. When entering the cabin, it was musty smelling. Did not smell clean at all! On the patio, the screen was torn and the hot tub was filthy ( we have a hot tub at home and we could tell it was not clean) . The headrests were filthy with visible scum on them. Water was cloudy. No way we would get in that tub! Jacuzzi was also dirty with scum . Luckily, I brought Lysol wipes and cleaned it before we got in. The couch smelled like dogs and the bed linens did not smell fresh. The wood floors were dirty and gritty. Vacasa needs to hire a new cleaning crew. Would never go back and would not recommend to anyone!

German Heritage Getaway
The cottage was as described on VRBO. It is a little more outdated than the pictures represent. The screened porch is in a bit of disrepair and the unit could use a bit of updating. We could not get the jetted tub to turn off and tried calling Vacasa. The first call we couldn’t hear each other I had to hang up. The second call was disconnected. I then texted and the representative was troubleshooting from a manual and was of no help. We did get it off. The button appears to be failing. This is a very special property and I would probably stay again. I would recommend to owners to switch property management company or self manage.

Cute little cabin in the woods of north georgia
Cute and clean little cabin in the woods. Felt like staying in a tree house and all the conveniences of home furnished. Loved the rocking chairs on the back porch and enjoying nature. We enjoyed the seclusion and privacy. Cozy bed. Jacuzzi tub and heart shaped tub in the room were great too! Shower needs a mat as it is very slick when wet. Doors could use a dry eraser to clean or fresh paint. Close to town with wonderful valley and mountain views. Our dogs loved it also. Lisa @ vacasa’s local office was amazing when we had trouble with water outage. Very responsive to any and all questions. Making sure we had water back on quickly. Her customer service was phenomenal and five star all the way! We would definitely stay again.

Favorite Helen Cabin
We have returned to this cabin several times now. Last year we stayed in another which was nice but not as comfortable as this one. Only issue we had was the bed. It needs to have the mattress replace. Hump in the middle and no edges. A light over the sink would be nice too but that is just nit picking.

Expected a descent bed to sleep on at night
The mattress on our bed was completely worn out on the left side so bad that it compressed to the box spring.. could only sleep on half the bed.. when we called them to tell them they said sorry nothing can be done.. then the hot tub didn’t work.. water was only 90.. the display read no heat.. plus the jets didn’t work.. we texted them on this and received no answer.. never again.. we do this 2x a year.. you’ve lost any business from us again. Totally disgusted

NO Communication
The hot tub was empty and not working. The jets for the jacuzzi tub inside were not working. Called Vacasa several times and was told I would receive a call back. Never did!!!! They did refund a small amount back as a hot tub fee. I booked the cabin BECAUSE of the hot tub. I would have booked another cabin if they would have been honest. I never heard from the property manager. DO NOT book through Vacasa.

Didn't get what we paid for
The cabin itself is wonderful. Parking is terrible. States there are 2 spots, but we were lucky to squeeze in 1 to stay out of the road. Exterior Hot tub had a fee which was no problem, but when we arrived we found it empty and not working. Interior jacuzzi jets didn't work either. All the property manager told us is that be showed a open work order,. No refund has been offered

Do not rent from Vacasa
We rented this cabin for a late honeymoon getaway. It had a hot tub and a heart shape jacuzzi tub. Neither one worked. We contacted Vacasa numerous times and they kept promising to send someone out to fix the issues but never did. We couldn't enjoy either one, which was the main reasons we chose this cabin. Not to mention the cooking pans where all rusty and peeling. The cooking utensils were greasy and dirty. Then to top it off, my wife tried turning on the space heater and it shot sparks out and burnt the top of her foot. We did not have a good experience and will never rent from Vacasa again.

Almost perfect
Property was beautiful. Parking can be a little complicated but doable. The cabin itself was perfect for just the two of us and the full kitchen was a blessing. The heater worked great as well. The only thing was the outside jacuzzi had abiut 3 inches if water still in it and was really dirty so we did not use it, and when we tries to use the indoor hot tub on our 3rd day we found it wasnt working. We were pretty bummed because they were main reasons we choose this property. Neither were fixed during our stay unfortunately. Communication with vacasa was great during our stay. If only the hottub and jacuzzi worked it would have been perfect.

Terrible! Do not rent this property!
I booked this cabin for the hottub and jetted jacuzzi tub. The hottub did not work. Did not have any water in it. The jets did not work on the tub inside. Called management they had someone come out to fix the hottub the next day late. Still was not fixed. Told them about the tub jets not working. They did not even check it. Toilet made a horrible noise after almost every flush. My husband had to mess with it several times to make it stop. The fireplace screen was also broken or was missing half of it. Only covered half of the fireplace. Management said I will get a refund.....I will not stop until I do! A full refund! I was very disappointed! Way too expensive for what we got! No reason they should continue to post this property without updating this property and amenities. She reviews from December saying how great..either they are posting fake reviews or the place went down hill in a couple weeks time. I don't believe it!
