We loved this beautiful apartment. It was well laid out and very well decorated. It's what Paris apartments wished they looked like. The key was that it had large windows in every room, which is key in moody, shady Savannah. I suppose we could have chosen an apartment closer to the town centre, but we came to feel lucky that we would have the privilege of walking in such a pretty park past the illustrious fountain every day. That the place was professionally managed was evident. First the slickness of check in - just emails and code numbers - easy peasy, then the faultless decor, then the comfy bed and the well-equipped kitchen, then the newness of everything and upscale toiletries... It was perfect.
Well, near perfect... If I had to mention two faults, it would be that the couch, though very pretty, felt cheap - like its base cushions were made of cardboard or something, and also, we were lucky that the upstairs residents were away for much of our stay, but they were very clunky and loud when they were in. It's an old house, so it's to be expected, plus we're Canadian so we aren't used to people wearing shoes in the house. No worries, though. I would still highly recommend this place. We'd stay again.
