"We truly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful home. It was spacious, beautifully decorated and provided everything you could need and more. Loved the huge front porch. There weren’t too many rules, regulations or cameras so we could truly relax and enjoy this home and explore the beauty of Humboldt County. It felt like the owners truly cared about their renters enjoying their amazing home. We made lasting memories with our daughter and teenage grandkids. Thanks for sharing and making it possible...

"I injured my knee the evening before I was to drive up to King Salmon, so was unable to enjoy Shell Cottage, and too late for any refund! I had stayed previously however, and it was lovely; hence my desire to return."

"We ran out of coffee filters and dishwasher soap. There was no pepper in pepper shaker or on shelf. It would have been nice to have oil be a staple. Primary bathroom ran out of conditioner. Just a suggestion, but it would have been nice to have a couple of throw blankets so we could snuggled in them and used less heat. "

"Cottage was exactly as described and perfect for our family of five for three nights. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Two bathrooms and washer/dryer was a huge plus! Kitchen had everything we needed (except coffee- bring your own) and everything was very clean. I enjoyed coffee on the deck each morning and the breeze through open windows at night was delightful. "

"We loved our stay at this vacation rental! It was comfortable, quirky in the best way, clean, and close to everything we needed. The home was well-stocked with supplies and had everything we could possibly need—such a thoughtful touch that made our stay even easier. "I wanted to take a bath so I got a couple of the Clorox wipes to wipe down the bath tub. The first swipe I did came up with debris and hair. It grossed me out, so I decided to take a shower. The water lapped at my ankles because there was so much hair clogging the drain!! Then I dropped something behind the nightstand and found tons of dust there. Looked clean, but was only clean in the middle. "
