Fabulous view and walks
We were able to enjoy the beach/ocean views from the house windows and from 2 patios. The large garden entrance with hot tub was relaxing. The property was enclosed by a fence and felt very secure and safe. Mostly we loved sitting on the deck, watching the ocean and wild life and walking along the coast and observing the changing ocean views.

Beautiful
This was our first time here, our group loved being in this house and waking up to the beach, and falling asleep to the beach. The beach is a short 10 minute walk about the neighborhood to get down to the water. Beautiful hot tub, and clean towels. The master bed is super comfortable. We have basics to cook pasta, and breakfast. Local shore shell store 10 minute drive.

Location, location
Bovill House is in a perfect Sea Ranch location -- steps away from the bluff path, Shell Beach and a cove where seals gather to nap. We had stayed in this house in 2020 and some renovation has been done since. The views are magnificent especially from the main bedroom and the living/dining room. Our only critical comment is that the two back bedrooms are very cold on a winter stay. The wall heaters either didn't work or were inadequate. Also, the owners would give a great gift to renters if they provided a new blender.

Great House with Ocean Views
This is a great house for a group and has ocean views from the living room and master bedroom. We came with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday for the weekend and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house has the kitchen and living/ dining areas all in the center, with two bedrooms each on either side of the center of the house. We loved going for long walks along the bluffs and soaking in the hot tub in the evening. The kitchen is large and has everything you need to prepare meals. There are plenty of games and books as well as a small DVD library for entertainment. It was clean and comfortable and we'd absolutely love to return some day!

Memorable Getaway and Reunion
Beautiful property, spacious, spectacular views and easy access to coastal footpaths. House is well appointed with full service kitchen, cookware, etc, beach towels and more. Management responded very quickly to a hot water issue. We hope to return again. Thank you for wonderful time.

Dope stay with entire fam
Took my mother in law, husband, 5yr old and 1yr old here for a week before Xmas. Perfect location right near Shell beach and about 10min from Gualala. Mornings had tons of wildlife, nights had tons of stars. Great to have washer/dryer and lots of bedrooms and bathrooms and outdoor space for the kids to play. The only downside was that the hottub's lights weren't working and it was so chlorinated that our eyes burned, lol, so we didn't end up using it. Would come back!

What a great location! The views during the day couldn't have been nicer. The house was clean and in good shape. The bed were all comfortable, and we enjoyed the kitchen, BBQ and hot tub. We'd stay there again. A few things need attention. We didn't have hot water in the bathroom nearest the front door and in one of the two shower heads in the large bathroom, and it took at least several minutes for water to get hot in the bathroom off the king suite. Also, the front door keypad-lock mechanism was finicky and, even when being extra careful, we usually had to enter the 10-digit code several times before it would unlock the door.

Relaxing getaway
This was one of the best family trips that we have taken together. The surroundings were beautiful. The view was amazing, the hikes along the beach and in the forest were beautiful, not traveled much. The wildlife at your door was so fun to watch. I would recommend this place to vacation to anyone who loves the outdoors.

Breathtaking View & Experience!
We had the amazing privilege to stay at this gorgeous ocean front vacation home over 4th of July weekend! Needless to say, it will be a vacation our family will never forget! It's hard to decide what my favorite amenities to this home were so I think it's most helpful for vacationers to know them all! We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner on the patio (surrounded by grazing and relaxing deer families) with the ocean breeze and ocean view right before our eyes everyday! It was literally only a minute walk or less right to the beach! At the end of each full day at the beach, our 3 young boys (ages 5, 6, & 8) would rinse off in the truly awesome spa style shower, followed with a dip in the hot tub. We brought our cornhole, badminton set, & volleyball to play in the endless "backyard" with the kiddos. There's simply not enough words to describe the memorable and wonderful experience our family had here so look no further when considering your Sea Ranch vacation options! Thank you to the owners for sharing your beautiful vacation home with our family and we are already counting the days for our next family vacation at your Sea Ranch Paradise!

Great location. Private retreat.
Location of the property to the beach was excellent. 5 min walk. Ocean front. Private and quiet. Hot tub worked great and was clean. Overall house was clean and well equipped. Spacious inside and has a washer/dryer. Main living room was large with views of the Ocean. Front Zen Like garden was quite pleasant. The grill worked without issue and had an extra tank of gas. Would highly recommend staying at thus location.

Great house and views
Stayed over the weekend with a small group of friends. The house is great with amazing views and a short walk down to the beach. There's lots of space for cooking in the kitchen and the outdoor grill is great for doing a BBQ.

Relaxing by the Beach
Great little property. Beautiful view, loved the patio, small beach coves short walking distance. Home was cute with a nice layout perfect for our situation of teens and little ones. Had a wonderful family vacation. Loved the walk in shower next to hot tub. Deck was another favorite spot with ocean views. Would rent again but only if the dishwasher gets repaired. Was a bit of a disappointment needing to hand wash every single dish and during covd washed all the dishes again in drawers prior to using as they didn’t look too clean. Would have been nice to know it was broken ahead of time as I would have brought my own cleaners etc to wash.

Wonderful Location, Tired Home
The location of this reasonably priced home is outstanding. The house itself has the evidence of former years of warm family use; some visitors will resonate with that strongly. The house and furnishings need maintenance (one garage door malfunctions; master bedroom fireplace broken; stove instrument light burned out; interior courtyard landscaping not kept up) -- the carpet is tired. The house has a look and feel of being somewhat neglected. Bicycles, included in the listing, are not present. Did not try to use the hot tub. Again: the location is superb, and along with apparent neglect is a residue of happy days gone by.

The location was amazing so close to the ocean. Incredible views! The house was great and worked well for us. Only issue was not enough paper products (no paper towels or napkins, and not nearly enough toilet paper for 7 adults for 3 nights/4 days). We had to go out to buy more, not ideal. Otherwise it was great!!
