I spent a wonderful 5 nights away from my noisy apartment in the city. I walked on the beach, enjoyed the architecture, visited the Chapel, went swimming at the recreation center, hung out with coffee, a drink, or food at the excellent Sea Ranch Lodge which is the social hub of the community.
The unit is sweet and beautiful as is obvious from the pics. The bed is comfy, and the view amazing. There is a good heater for chilly nights. There is a microwave, mini fridge, plates bowls mugs, glasses, and silverware, and keurig
coffee maker with a range of flavored coffees. But I wish I had brought my own coffee maker or there had been a French press available. The mini fridge and plates etc are in the closet which doesn't leave much room for hanging clothes. That's a bit of an issue but certainly did not spoil my stay. Those are a few things I wish I had known in advance. I had assumed there would be a small kitchen, but it didnt. I should have read the listing more carefully but I think that could be made clearer. Not a dealbreaker for me since I didn't want to cook.
When I reached the property, the door was open and I was never given a key. I never locked the door while I was there. Not sure how I was meant to get it. I never saw the person in the main house. Maybe I missed something. When you pick up your renter packet you get a form which allows you to use the recreation centers. I swam at the Ohlson which has a beautiful pool and saunas.
A few quirks but a 5* stay.
