"We had a big group of 14 people and booked this property on Howe Island. The location was great. It was quite, remote and peaceful, just what we were looking for. The hosts, Courtney and Chris along with their kids were very hospitable and did a great job of hosting us. Would definitely consider this place again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway!"

"Definitely, a beautiful stay with beautiful views. Checkin process is so easy and host was very quick in response. There is some issue with hot water but other than that we had a really good time. Will definitely book one more time."

"This small cabin has your basic necessities and was just fine for my father and I on our last fishing trip of the year. I booked this location due to having a boat dock where I could keep my boat in the water. Unfortunately, late in the year they lower the water levels on the lake and our boat dock was not accessible due to the low water levels. Pretty much mud at dock with only 6" of water at the end where owners pontoon boat was docked. Any other type of fishing boat, including mine would...

"We came in for a course that we were taking. The hosts answered all my questions within a reasonable time line. The accommodation were perfect for our needsz We loved the organization of the cupboards. It appealed to our compulsive minds. It was well appointed and easy to find everything we needed. "Beautiful surroundings and everything you need to enjoy the beautiful St. Lawrence River. Our extended family was up and our cottage down the road was full. This was a wonderful space to be close to family and still have privacy, quiet, and all the conveniences of home. Well appointed, clean and very responsive host. If the situation arises again and we love our family so we hope it does - we won't hesitate to return. Well done!"

"WE had a family vacation with 4 children 9-18 years and 6 adults. The place is as described, but one needs to read the description carefully - see next re water access. The access to the water is not easy as it is down a path through rocks and when you get to the water it is all green and slimy with a dock covered in goose poop. We did go kayaking, but swimming etc. is not an option. You can go to other beaches, but the lake had an E.coli outbreak so there was no swimming. An in-ground pool...

"We had a wonderful time at the JEMH cottage. Sandi was very responsive and helpful with questions. The location is amazing, we swam, kayaked, and rented a Pontoon boat so we could explore the 1800+ islands! I would highly recommend for a family getaway."
