This rental is a cute, cabin-like trailer. The pine interior siding and heaters make it cozy and it has everything you need. The area around Cape Flattery doesn't offer a lot of lodging, so if you want to explore that part of the Olympic Peninsula, this is a great option.
I gave a poor cleanliness rating because we arrived to find the cabin and not been cleaned since the last renter. Feces was dried in one of the toilets, the dirty sheets and towels were in a pile on the floor and there were no clean linens or towels. We left three messages at the number we found in the cabin info binder, but the owner never got back to us until we did some sleuthing and found a better number. The internet was out (no fault of the owner) and the email contact function on Expedia didn't work, so it took several hours for us to let him know that the cabin had not been cleaned.
To his credit, the owner came a short time later to make it right and he gave us a credit for the cleaning fee (yea, I would hope so) and another for the inconvenience. I appreciate the owner trying to make it right. He also has chickens and he gave us some fresh eggs. Very nice!
But the floor and shelves were filthy, like they had not been cleaned in a long time. The place needed a good scouring. Be prepared if your cleanliness standards are high.
Also, the rental is advertised as pet friendly, but actually, it allows only dogs. I booked the place before I knew. The listing should be clear. Cats are pets.
