"Lake nice. Rooms like any Ibis but too expensive. Small swimming pool we didn't use it. And paying extra for amenities and Internet it's just a terrible idea. Why don't they just ad 15 pounds to the price of the room and don't act like a low cost airline. The resort is not low cost. Brilliant lake view from the Lodge. Ugly restaurant and bar. The machines doesn't work they keep your money and lady in reception couldn't help. It's not a 4 stars hotel! ITS NOT LAKE...

"This cosey cottage had everything we needed. The dog loved his walks and having his bed by the log burner. The children loved everything about Grassington, the shops, cafes, walks and a lovely meal at The Devonshire. Perfectly proportioned for a family of four with a dog, the cottage was a great base for us to explore from. . "

"Not quite as it looked in the advert . The outside table and chairs give the impression you can sit out in a courtyard ..it's actually the drive up to the other property's . The next property was occupied by seven lads on a stag weekend who all came in there cars , therefore nowhere to park for our two cars .the weekend was also marred by the taxi turning up at the lads accommodation with a young lady in what can only be described as as nurses outfit and heels ... Not what we expected when we...

"Family-Friendly Accommodation We spent a wonderful few weeks in this spacious and lovely holiday flat. It’s a perfect base for exploring the Lake District and the surrounding area. "The hotel is fine and the location suited us. It was frustrating that when we booked there was very limited possibility for reserving a meal. I was surprised they didn't keep a few tables for residents. But there's plenty locally and it wasn't an issue. Friendly staff, plentiful parking, clean, warm. All good. "
