We really enjoyed the location of the house. The view of the lake was fantastic. The house had plenty of room and everything was well appointed. The mattresses were a bit too firm and the queen mattress in the downstairs bedroom had a plastic covering on it which made for uncomfortable night’s sleep. Overall the house was great, despite a few cobwebs. Some upgrades to the mattresses, pillows and linens and the house would be perfect. wrapped in plastic and was a little

Great relaxing peaceful getaway!
Loved being right on the lake. We enjoyed many hours on the back deck taking in the view. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. Our host was there to greet us and show us around. We plan on returning!

Had an amazing time at this beautiful property. The owners were very accommodating. Rented their boat as well and had an amazing time on the lake. Couldnt have asked for a more perfect mini vacation

Enjoyable stay for mom and teen son
The rental has a lot of room and would be perfect for a bigger family. It absolutely met our needs. It was myself and my son. My main concern was we were in a safe neighborhood, ABSOLUTELY! We have found most cottages by the lake don't have a/c so it was nice to have the window units upstairs for when we slept. We had everything we needed for cooking etc. We didn't use the washer and dryer but it was nice that it was there. We also rented their pontoon boat they have avail on boatsetter.com and spending the day on the lake was a highlight. We live in MI and swim in the big lake often and an inland lake with a sand bottom so swimming in a weedy lake isn't for us but kayaking which is provided was super. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others; Laurie and Hunter were both great to deal with.

Stay was good! Fishing was bad! This house is very nice and well stocked of essentials. Communication was great! Wish either check in is earlier or check out later. Feel like we miss a day! Other than that I wholly recommend this home!

Wonderful property
This property was wonderful to stay at for a few nights!! Walk out from the back right into the water and a beautiful view. Best stocked kitchen I've ever had at a rental property, they have everything you will need plus basic spices. Great open floor plan with large living room and kitchen. Bedrooms perfect for adults and bunk beds for kiddos. Plenty of windows and screen doors to let in the beautiful breeze and mild temperatures. This Florida girl has NEVER slept with windows open in the summer, what a treat! Wonderful to have access to kayaks, canoe and life vests. We also rented the pontoon boat for a day on the lake. Can't get any better than walking out the back door and on to a boat that is all your for 8 hours! Only down side, there is a lot of grass in the water around the dock, little ones may be creeped out by the feel of it. Would definitely stay again!

Lake front house
This house is truly lake front with parking available. We rented a pontoon from the owners, which worked out great! The house is conveniently located near wineries. Communication with the hosts was great. The pictures are a good representation of what to expect. New AC window units in the upstairs bedroom kept the bedrooms cool at night. This house worked well for a group of 6 woman.

Overall, nice property. This is our second time staying here. They've made some renovations since our last stay. Owners are nice. Location is good, not too far from town, and close to other attractions in the area. Lakefront area is nice and as private as it could be.

Fantastic stay!
We had a wonderful time at the lake. The owners were right next door to handle any issues that came up. They were very helpful and responsive. The place was perfect. Lovely lakeside dock with views. We would definitely stay there again!

We loved our stay here! Right on the water, close to restaurants, spacious and clean. Loved that there was a tv in every bedroom as I am someone who sleeps with a tv on. Beautiful view of the lake!

Family weekend getaway

Second year staying at the shore house. House is very clean and sets on the shore line.Close to great fishing grounds and nicely maintained at with a reasonably priced. We loved coming back and will come back anytime we come to Lake Cyuga and the senica area..

What a great time and the fishing was fantastic.
The fishing was amazing right off the dock, not the big trout but the panfish type. We rented a boat right down the road conveniently located and caught the lake trout. It was nice to have the bedroom on the first floor for my BIL who has difficulty doing stairs. There were plenty of comfortable chairs inside and out for comfortable bird watching and sunsets. Although we are too old to use them there were kayaks and a canoe. I would definitely come back.
