Wonderful Shawnigan Retreat
Spent two nights at the property with my husband. Our hosts, Nancy and Brad, were so kind and hospitable. We got freshly made muffins, bread and a fridge stocked with eggs from their chickens, milk, yogurt and juice. The accommodations were spacious, clean and felt like home away from home. We fed the alpacas and chatted with the hosts. Great stay and can’t say enough good things about Nancy and Brad. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

Shawnigan oasis
From the moment we walked in the property was beautiful, and tranquil. Everything was provided from farm fresh eggs to muffins delivered in the morning still warm. The care, and attention to guest experience was evident in the details around the space. Our daughter loved the animals on the property. (we even got a chance to feed them!) We will definitely be returning.

Tasty breakfast treats and animal friends!
This was a lovely place to stay! Very clean and comfortable, really cozy beds, and everything you need for a great breakfast, including fresh baked muffins and scones. We loved watching the sheep and alpaca in the backyard over breakfast. This is a great place for kids. The location was perfect for visiting nearby hikes, wineries, and the lake. It's a very easy drive to get into Victoria city as well. Definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique and special place to stay on Vancouver Island.

Better then advertised
Nancy was a fantastic hostess. The suite is large and comfortable and we felt right at home. The fresh baked banana bread and scones were a lovely bonus and they even had fresh farm eggs and some groceries in the fridge for us. Oh and the new puppies were fun too. We loved having our morning coffee on the patio and watching the sheep and alpacas grazing. Will definitely stay again if we get the opportunity!!

Amazing Place to Stay
Nancy is the most wonderful host, she baked us fresh muffins and was happy and able to accomodate an addition to our stay. The properly is well maintained and Nancy provides you with all the basisc, eggs, bread, milk, oj, yougurt, granola, coffee, tee, and a lovely gift basket with drints, popcorn and hand made soap. I would highly recommend this property. She also had the sweetest littly poodle puppies that she let me cuddle ... wonderful hosts and amazing property. The heat pump was a nice surprise as it was so hot while we were there but the suite was nice and cool.

Der Aufenthalt war super schön. Die Vermieter des Objektes sind sehr aufmerksam und fürsorglich. Es war alles zum Frühstück da, inklusive Eier von den eigenen Hühnern. Am letzten Abend haben sie uns sogar ein Lagerfeuer gemacht. Die Wohnung liegt sehr gut für Ausflüge.
