Terrible experience!!
On our way to the property, they messaged us to say that they had double booked the unit we had reserved and that we would have to stay in a different unit. Second and much bigger problem was that the AC did not work. When we got there we turned the thermostat down as it read 80 at our arrival. The outside temperature at the time was in the mid-90s. Two hours later it still was at 80 when we had turned it down to 70 earlier. We then messaged the host to let him know. He assured us it would cool off soon but to let him know if it didn’t. We went out for a few hours. When we returned it was still 80. We messaged the host and did not receive a response. We went the entire night, overnight, with no AC and no response or communication from the host whatsoever! We tried messaging the host numerous times but never heard from them again at all. We texted and messaged through the app but they NEVER ever responded at all to the AC issue, offered to come look at it, apologized, or offered any resolution for us. They just completely ghosted us which is unacceptable for a host in my opinion!
