Beautiful sunset views from big bedroom bathtub!
Overview: Wonderfully private, 2 story 2B/2B lovely little house with serene views of the bay, 1 minute from Shelter Cove Market, 5 min. from town. Comfy, well-maintained.
The online descriptions and photos of the house and rooms are very good but do not do justice to the views (especially from the big jacuzzi tub in the upstairs bedroom), and the tastefulness of the facilities, e.g., the winding wooden staircase accented by a sensual oak curving railing, walls adorned with creative paintings and photographs, and colorful shower/sink tiling.
A couple "heads-up" pointers:
1. There are no dressers in either bedroom. The big upstairs bedroom has 3 huge subtle drawers under the tub platform, however; no closet, but a hanging rack. The lower bedroom is tiny and has almost no storage so it is best for a child (and be careful not to accidentally lock yourself out of it with the knob lock!)
2. Upstairs bedroom has no door, so if you're sensitive BYO earplugs to avoid hearing downstairs fridge noises.
3. BYO eye mask if you need total darkness to sleep (no blackout drapes)
4. BYO little portable beach chair, if you want a chair to enjoy the upstairs balcony.
5. BYO ice or ice tray (icemaker is disabled).
6. WIFI is great, but my verizon mostly had no cell service, so make sure you have wifi phone calling and receiving enabled in case of an emergency.
7. If you cook a lot: note there is no dishwasher. There is a washer/dryer, and all other supplies are there.
