My daughter and her family took me to a "Clamping" weekend for my birthday. This is a lovely little cabin with an incredible water view. My kids enjoyed the provided kayaks to row across the inlet to a little island where they encountered oysters and gooey-duck clams at low tide (just looked). The cabin was clean and there were puzzels and games provided for anyone wanting to unplug with family. Deer roamed freely and we even witnessed a doe nursing right in front of our dining room window! The issues: We arrived at 5:40 (check-in was 4) but the cleaner was still there. She kindly took us to the outside deck table and brought us a ice water while we waited. My son-in-law inquired about the "partial AC". He and the house cleaner tried the multi-bed room 1st but it kept blowing the fuse so she suggested the master bedroom but it was my son-in-law who hooked it up later and tap a bag over the window screen above the hole in the screen where the AC exhaust vent went. Unfortunately, he couldn't open thier bedroom window (bugs) as the screen had been cut for when the AC was in that room. We stayed mid-summer and it was HOT especially with the sun shining into all front windows, the next day we learned there were sun-shades and pulled them down, they are transparent and don't block the view. One AC in a bedroom is not sufficient, a 2nd is desperately needed. When summer guests arrive have both AC's installed and running and the sun-shades lowered. Bring what needed, big trek for mor
