I loved the quiet location of this cottage. It is hidden away in a peaceful and pretty pedestrian alleyway directly off Sheringham high street not far from the clock tower and the Little Theatre, so only a short walk from both Tesco, Sainsburys and the sea front.
The cottage was very well-equipped. Contrary to my expectations, towels, an ironing board, an iron and a hairdryer were all provided as well as everything else you could possibly need, such as plentiful crockery, cutlery, pots & pans.
The only drawback for me was the settee which I could not get comfortable on but other than that my stay at the cottage was very pleasant and Sheringham is absolutely beautiful.
I recommend checking the time of low tide and going for a long walk along the sand at low tide beyond the lifeboat station after the end of the prom. It is a breathtaking walk along a wild and unspoilt coastline and you will never forget it. I recommend doing the same at West Runton which has a stunning, vast sandy beach at low tide. Another two beautiful walks are along the cliffs by the golf course and the walk up Beeston Hill, both in Sheringham. The views from both are magnificent.
