"I travel quite a lot, and this Ryokan is the best place I have ever stayed at. The attention to detail and thought put into every piece of the home is impeccable. If you are lucky enough for this space to be available during your time in Japan, booking this place would be the best decision! Kimi is absolutely incredible and will ensure your stay is phenomenal. "Great slice of cabin in the woods humble abode. Clean and warm. You will need a car with AWD and snow tires if visiting in the winter. Beware though, there are monkeys in the woods and they come out in the warm late afternoon. While they're incredible to see, they're smart so keep your food close, snap some pictures and steer clear of them. "

"This is one of the best resorts you can possibly stay at. Everything is 10/10. It is all in one for everything you need. Note that the area it is in only has hotels for the most part, so it is difficult to get to a convenience store if you have no car. About an 8 minute uber which will run you about $20 USD round trip if you need something. Although often the resort has all you need. And they have bus service for free to the ski resort. I couldnt praise this resort more highly."

"This place was incredible! We loved our stay so much that we are going to visit again at a time we can stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the slopes were right at the doorstep with a ski school for kids and sledding too. Transportation was available to take us to dinner at other places. The restaurant on site was exceptional, the breakfast was so good each day and then we had dinner with live music and had the most wonderful night. Highly recommend!"
