Was a perfect home to enjoy a slow start to the day over coffee and waterfront views … and excellent evenings resting inside and enjoying the hot tub and sunsets. All the little details you’d hope for in a VRBO rental and great, welcoming hosts in Danny and Tami who you knew would be there if you needed them, but gave plenty of space so you could feel as though the entire property was your own personal oasis....

"Rose Cottage is a lovely, contemporary cottage set apart and screened from 2 other similar cottages by lovely, well cared for gardens. Well-marked paths lead to nearby beaches. Everything we needed (and then some) was provided, including a gas barbecue and wood burning stove. The beds are very comfortable, kitchen well stocked. The only downside is the cottage is located very near the road so there is a little road noise. But it’s not a very busy road so that wasn’t a problem. If we stay here...

"Three college friends from the 70s got away to Vancouver island and REALLY enjoyed our stay. The lovely home, built built by the family who were so friendly, was nestled in a beautiful woody area. It had an awesome hot tub, super comfy beds, nice living area to visit and have our appetizers. It was especially wonderful to be away from the hustle and bustle of city-life and enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest. Seeing the fog roll across the mountains in the morning was delightful."

"Second time visiting the property and it did not disappoint! The location is amazing and we were able to see whales and sea lions right from the deck! Perfect for a romantic getaway or solo vacay. The hot tub was so hot and perfect for a rainy soak. We'll be back"

"My family and friends have stayed at this property three times thus far—a stunning cabin in the woods. If you want to get away for the weekend, we highly recommend it. We had a storm during our last stay. The host was terrific. They had emergency supplies and were in contact to ensure we were safe and could get home safely. Above and beyond!!! "

"The property was ideal for our group, 6 adults and a toddler. The unit was clean and very well equipped for your needs. The property is in a beautiful setting with access to the water and close to amenities for dining as well as being centrally located on the West Coast making it easy to get to Port Renfrew and Victoria.
