Most everything was amazing. Loved the property and using the firepit. Beautiful place to stay. The main road gets loud but, overalla great place to stay. We did some hiking in the area and it was gorgeous views wherever we went. Thanks so much!!

Great place!
The location and privacy of this property is fantastic. Short drive to downtown Greenville as well as groceries, gas, etc. The home is adorably decorated and very cozy with a wood stove and beautiful porch and deck. Looking forward to coming back in the warmer months.

Beautiful Maine cabin!
My wife and I had a great 2 day experience in the woods of greenville maine. The cabin looked like it had just been built and had a beautiful view of the Maine woods. We had a great stay and look forward to coming back again

Cozy Weekend Getaway
The house was quaint. Well decorated. We loved having the outdoor firepit to make smores. Secluded location, lots of trees, a small stream. Our dog loved wandering the trail that was marked through the woods. Very quiet at night, and dark, you could see the stars through the trees. Close to the town of Greenville with a small downtown. Fun shops. Soap store had the best smelling soaps I've ever seen! Plus a used book store which my husband and I browsed, and purchased from. We were there after the tourist season, so there wasn't much to do (the boat tour, moose tours etc), but we still occupied ourselves. Would visit again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Northwoods cabin, it was very comfortable. We had everything we needed to cook meals, very private location which is a bonus. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cabin in the woods
The cabin was just what our family needed! The scenery was gorgeous, the cabin was the definition of cozy, and we were close to the local grocery store so we could stock up. Everything from check in the check out went smoothly, and the cabin was equipped with almost everything we could have needed. The board games were a great touch. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice Place to stay
This place was nice, I stayed here with my wife and two kids for a week. Its right off the main road on a private street. When we first went into the house there was the overwhelming smell of mothballs and the place was not all that clean. Luckly we brought some candles which masked the smell and we brought cleaning supplies, we spent the first few hours cleaning everything. There is no dishwasher and a lot of the plates/ silverware/cookware were dirty and had food on them. The fridge is broken, the door won't close and all the drawers inside are broken we had to lean jugs of water to keep the door closed. The water is hard there and tastes like iron, which is no big deal just so you know ahead of time to get water jugs. I had to run out to the market down the street to buy a shower curtain liner, the green one that was there was covered in black mold, I left it in a bag inside the bathroom where the supplies are. If you are traveling with young kids you should know that there are no railings on the stairs as well. The cabin is cozy though the brown reclining chair is the most comfortable chair i've ever sat in. The TV is a smart tv so is the Blu-ray player so you can watch Netflix, the wifi is a little spotty, but being that far up you have to expect that. The beds are cozy and the and there is a wood stove inside which was nice on the cold nights. They left firewood outside for the stove inside and wood outside if you wanted to have a fire in the pit which was also great on cold nights. This place was great for people like us who wanted a change of scene from quarantining for months, we also love snow and there is a good amount up there. This place is so close to town so it was easy to get supplies or go for hikes or look for moose.

Lovely Cabin!
We had a brief but lovely stay at this very cozy cabin, stocked with everything we needed. Well situated for some time around Moosehead Lake and exploring Greenville. We’d love to head back again in summer or winter!

Fantastic cabin
This was a most enjoyable stay. The cabin is wonderful; lots of fire wood for both the fire ring and the wood burning stove in the cabin; excellent location; beautiful surroundings. A wonderful place to enjoy Maine.

excellent trip
Just as the year before we enjoyed the stay, like the privacy, great location for snowmobiling, and cabin has all we need. only glitch was we had a little visitor (mouse) with us for one night and drove the dog crazy and got into some of our food on the counter.. We got up the next morning and found him dead on the stairs. No big deal we understand its a cabin and they find thier way in.

Beautiful location
Our cabin was very clean when we arrived, we love this location and come often. This was our first time renting this home. It would have been helpful to know that the oven doesn’t work properly beforehand. Being that we rented the home the week of Thanksgiving, I bought hundreds of dollars worth of food up with us to cook for my family. The oven has one rack and doesn’t stay on, nor does the gas ranges. Some food I am able to bring home with us but unfortunately the majority of food had to be tossed. In addition to that loss, we had to eat out everyday (including Thanksgiving) which as a family of five can cost a fortune. When we go away, I like to cook and we eat out once maybe twice and it was sad not being able to cook traditional food on a holiday with my husband and kids. The cost of food while here and the food we lost was unexpected and very unfortunate for a family that’s on a strict budget. Other than that and a few mice droppings the house was a pleasure, clean, and the town is beautiful.
