The road to this place seemed like you were driving into the wilderness. It was a little rough, but we were driving a Hyundai Elantra and we made it fine. The detailed directions given to us by Richard the manager were great, especially because during the last few miles we could not use gps. The cabin was a little quirky and rustic, but it was very cute and well equipt. The stairwell was steep, but after maneuvering it for a couple of days we made it up and down pretty easily. You are literally in the forest, so peaceful and quiet, really pretty nice! We immediately thought it was going to be buggy because of all of the trees, but it was not. We sat outside in the mornings with coffee and in the evenings. Plus it was very shaded so it seemed much cooler! You did hear animal and birds and we saw fireflies at night! You could not see anything from the deck but trees and there were other homes in the area, but we could not see anyone. We spent our time exploring the area and fishing, then coming back to grill dinner and just relax. It was very private and quiet, we really enjoyed our stay here!
