First let me say, the host is wonderful! Communication was great! He replied quickly to all my questions and was great!
When it comes the house, it's more like a cabin (and I don't do cabins) because there were a few things that I wasn't expecting. Cobwebs everywhere, hair on the edge of the fridge shelves, a bathroom sink that would get clogged with just a simple hand washing, a stand-up shower stall wall that wasn't flush with the room wall, a vice grip at the top of the shower stall to keep the shower door closed, a deck that looked like something a preschool child made is popsicle sticks, a back door that couldn't shut completely or if you could get it shut, good luck getting it open! Stairs that could only accommodate 1/2 of my size 7 shoe per step, a railing on the second level that a young child could easily fall through and every morning, I looked for where our uninvited guest left his **droppings** overnight (We named him Stuart). But hey... We had some OPENED food in the cabinets & fridge.
The positives include comfortable beds, a large dining table, ample bath towels, a kayak and canoe, wood for the fire pit, a huge screen tv, an AC unit, a wood burning stove, and a dock.
Not what I was expecting based on the photos but had a great time with family.
