"We went to Franschhoek for our first trip and couldnt have chosen a better location! The apartment was perfect and in a great location for experiencing everything the town has to offer- walking distance to the shops, restaurants, wine tram, and grocery store. Great amenities and wonderful staff! Highly recommend! "

"We stayed in one of the Forest cottage. We loved the grounds of the hotel and the gardens were so beautiful. We booked late and the only room available was one of the cottages. We found the decor to be very dated including the bathroom and it had no air con. The bathroom taps were very stiff. The pool area for these cottages felt like it needed updating/cleaned and the lounger covers on the chairs were in need of a clean and quite dirty. Overall we were quite disappointed with the accommodation....

"Had a Marvellous time - The staff make you so welcome and everything is catered for excellently- from breakfast to assisting with dinner reservations, places to see, the owner even went to get a razor and shaving cream from the local shop as I had forgotten mine, Champagne for our anniversary - I can not recommend this place enough it’s a place of tranquility and splendour."

"A whole house with all the trimmings, amenities and warm South African welcome of the owner. The fridge contained complimentary butter, home made jam, bottle of wine and farm fresh milk. There were home made rusks and scrunchies. There was complimentary spices to use as well as olive oil etc etc. We were given two dishwashing pods and laundry detergent to use. I've never stayed in a place that is so well equipped. The owners friendliness further enhanced our stay. "

"We stayed at SandMartins from the 26th December 2024 to 4 January 2025. The first impressions of this immaculate property and estate is just wonderful and sets the atmosphere for a wonderful vacation. Very spacious, sunny and fully equipped. The entertainment and pool areas are the delight of the stay and make for wonderful sundowners. Best wishes to Sandie and Martin who are fabulous hosts and very responsive. See you soon again! "

"We were visiting Paarl as we have family here. We are from Florida, US. The house at Boschenmeer was perfect for us. The family came over for several dinners and they really enjoyed the outdoor area. "The townhouse was nice and well-maintained, and not too far away from many things to do in Franschhoek! Directions/instructions on how to get there (what the actual address is) could be improved, as we originally tried to check in to the apartments near Motherdough. Additionally, there was a very off-putting smell coming from under the kitchen sink that we could not find a source for. Overall, a good stay."
