"Nice room. Comfortable bed and good heating which was appreciated on a cool evening. We didn't find the vending room with coffee, microwave etc when we arrived, only when the owner mentioned we could get a coffee the next morning. As it's out of season and early in the week everything in the town was closed so had to drive to a larger town to get dinner."

"The cabin had everything - the owners clearly stay here from time to time and hence it has everything a home needs. Very cleaned super comfortable beds. Markleeville also surprised us with a great restaurant, pub and other facilities."

"Great location for the Death Ride to ride to/from the start/finish. It was great to have a comfortable cottage to stay in before and after such a long ride. This is probably one of the most well equipped cottage I’ve ever stayed in. Although the home doesn’t have AC, it was a non issue with the cool breeze & multiple fans provided by the owner. Mike was great and responsive with his communication. I would definitely stay here again!!"

"Great place, amazing view! Sleeps 13 but the bed configuration makes it seem like there is an extra bunk bed in the bunk bed room. There was only one bunk bed that had a double bed on the bottom."

"We needed a place to stay close to Walker River Resort where friends with RV’s were staying. The home was almost new and everything one would want was there. We didn’t use much as left in the morning and returned after dinners with friends. "

This is our second year staying at 255 Sunrise Trail and the home suits our group perfectly. We feel comfortable and at home in this house."
