"The log cabin on the Horse ranch was fantastic. Jade the host was great to work with. She was very communicative from a week before the trip. We got all the required info to check in and plenty of options for visiting around the area. We took her advice and went for an attraction which we were not aware of. "We thought the cottage was quiet and secluded. Everything was easily accessible and the porch was perfect for a morning cup of coffee. The firepit was far enough from the house to not make everything smell Smokey. Wildlife was beautiful to include a skink (lizard), deer, cat and a screech owl at night. The Lakeside Cafe at the end of the road was absolutely delicious! Pizzas were amazing and cinnamon rolls and breakfast casseroles were scrumptious before heading out to the caves. "

"From check in to check out we had a great time. There are 98 stairs going down to the lake so be ready to exercise. It’s worth it! The lake is beautiful and peaceful. The property had everything we needed and more. Beach towels and life jackets were available to use which was really nice. It was dog friendly with gates on the deck. Hosts were helpful, friendly and responsive. 5 stars "

"We loved everything about the Log Cabin at Nolin Lake. The cabin felt very cozy yet had plenty of room for a family of 12. The kitchen was well equipped, had everything we needed and then some. Had plenty for kids to do, video and board games, puzzles and an outdoor rope swing. Loved sitting on the back porch, with plenty of seating. Would have been fun to use the fire ring, but we had 90 degree days. Convenient in that it had a restroom on every floor. Would definitely like to come back...
