Peaceful Getaway
Enjoyed every minute. Such a quiet and relaxing location. The place was stocked with everything you need and more. Don't worry if you forget something. They have it!! Loved the decor and everything was clean to perfection. Definitely want to go back.

Overnight getawa
Property was close enough to Smithville for us to spend time exploring, but far enough out to feel like we were in the country. It was quiet, clean, well-stocked, and exactly like the pictures. The only thing we had trouble figuring out was the TV. It was on when we got there, we tried all the remotes, but we were never able to change the volume or turn it off (the Roku screensaver is silent so that wasn't a problem). That was just one tiny thing, though, and we had a very nice stay. We would definitely return to stay at the river RV again.

Wow, I came here to get some quiet time and work done, and it rocked! Secluded and quiet, exceptionally stocked and organized. Why would I do a hotel after this experience? Great place to get away!

A Piece of Heaven
We loved our time and stay at River RV. It was so peaceful and quite. Our host Curtis was very friendly and helpful. The RV was well stocked, clean and had everything you needed to feel and be comfortable. The scene from the RV to the river was beautiful, mowed and well kept. We enjoyed the sounds of birds, and the neighborhood was so peaceful, and only a few minuets from town. We were able to go and visit Bastrop Park and Lake, as well as Buschers Park and fish on the Colorado river. I reccomend River RV for anyone needing to get away for some quite and serene time. Thankyou Curtis for an adventure we will always remember, and hope to come back one day soon. Gary and Dottie.

The property is so beautiful, had so much peace and quiet. Really connects you with nature. We watched the stars, tried fishing and just took in the peacefulness of it all. Tje Rv had everything and we had some nice meals. Bed was super comfortable and everything was very easy to use. Curtis was so very attentive, friendly and was on top of everything. Would definitely stay here again.

Riverside Oasis
This place was selected on a whim for a quick overnight weekend getaway. Could not have picked a better spot. This place is a perfect quaint and quiet spot nestled right outside of downtown Smithville. Check in was a breeze, place was spotless. Everything you need is there and lots of extra goodies. The river was actually in better shape than I expected, fished the Colorado River my entire life. Our kids did not catch anything…but that’s fishing. We had such great experience and will absolutely be back. I recommend this spot to anyone looking for a weekend getaway. One thing I will note, we have 6 year old and a 9 year old. We brought a tent along, sleeping arrangements for a family of (4) are a little tight, but totally doable. The table turns into a bed at the dining area. 5 stars 100% - Thanks Curtis!

Tranquility
The Host was very friendly and inviting . The River RV was beyond my expectations . It was so cozy , homey, clean , organized and well equipped with every item u can think of u might need . This RV literally has it all not to mention all the extras ( snacks , coffee bar , and instructions on how to use every item in the RV , and much more . The property was breathtaking so peaceful and beautiful but my favorite was enjoying the Colorado River . Sitting outside near the river and listening to the current flowing thru the rocks . My husband and I loved this little piece of heaven . We will definitely be back soon .

A little slice of heaven
I have stayed in other vacation rentals & this one was by far the best! The price you pay is well worth it. It feels like you are in a home away from home. I loved all the little notes left around the place explaining the RV's quirks, lol! The host, Curtis, is super friendly & very responsive if you have any questions. He even leaves snacks for the renters which adds another special touch. 10/10 would recommend. We look forward to going back & floating the river this summer :)

Majestic property
My husband and I were looking for a little getaway from Austin for his birthday. We have driven though Bastrop a million times but never went ‘downtown’ so I found this great RV to stay in. It was perfect! Super quiet and secluded. Extremely clean and well organized. The double recliners and large tv were an added bonus! Bed was very comfortable. Short 14 minute drive to downtown bastrop. ( we recommend the back roads) and 5 mins from Smithville. It exceeded our expectations. The river and fire pit were so wonderful! The snacks and coffee options were super thoughtful and appreciated. Well done!

Stayed here for the husbands birthday!! What an amazing find!!! Amber and curtis thought of everything you will need to enjoy your stay. The property is well maintained and beautiful. You have to sneak away and enjoy the sunset on the colorado river..its stunning!! We will be going back!!

Welcoming, Cozy, and Charming.
Whenever I have walked into a vacation rental in the past, I have walked into hot stale air and eerie silence. I opened the door on the little RV on Hidden Shores Loop expecting the same. Instead, I was greeted with air conditioning, music, flickering lights in the electric fireplace, snacks on the counter and drinks in the fridge. What a lovely welcoming! Thank you, Michele, for the warm touches and your thoughtfulness. The solar candle on the table outside was the perfect amount of light to enjoy the evening. Your little RV on the Colorado is filled with love.

Country get away
The RV was very clean and tidy. My wife loved the little notes throughout the RV that help those not used to the camper life. The view out the front door was amazing as well as the view out the bedroom. We really enjoyed our time away from the city.
