Amazing Event House
This space was absolutely perfect for our event. The entire extended family of the Groom stayed at the house and loved it! Plenty of space to get dressed for a local wedding and we were able to host a small dinner. The space is beautiful, spacious and well maintained. The host was amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better place during a very stressful time.

Thanksgiving trip 2023
Our stay during Thanksgiving week, was 5 star plus. The ranch has practically everything, with ample space, indoors and out. Two kitchens to accommodate a Thanksgiving feast, and numerous spaces to dine, while celebrating with family. The solitude of the wide outdoor space, contributed to our relaxing, and rejuvenating. For the past several years our family has looked to VRBO for a home to accommodate are needs and wants. This year we found one that far exceeded our expectations. Thank you Rocking M Ranch.

Wedding Family Perfect!
The house was perfect for our family to stay in for a wedding in Smithville. The house was very clean and very spacious and the grounds around the home were beautiful. Everyone had a wonderful experience. Plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Would highly recommend for a large family or group.

This home is so lovely! It has plenty of space for all types of families. We had 6 young children and 11 adults—everything was safe for all of us. The pool is beautiful—step out the back and the patio and pool are waiting for you! We all had a great time!

Everyone from our family that was able to stay at the ranch absolutely loved it! The younger kids especially loved being able to swim in April! Thank you so much for promptly addressing the smoke detector batteries, too! Highly recommend this property for a large gathering!

Great place to stay with family and friends
My husband and I were celebrating our 25th an anniversary with family and close friends. guests came in and departed on different days plenty of room to sleep hang out and catch up. the outdoor space is amazing everyone enjoyed their time.

Family wedding crash house

VRBO Review
This house was perfect! There are so many beds in every room, we were able to have so many people in one place after being apart for so long. The kitchen had all the supplies to prepare meals. You need to bring some basic cooking things with you, like oil and spices but other than that, the house had everything! The pool was perfect and the backyard had so much space to spread out in. This place is PERFECT for a large group!

Fantastic Stay!
Family coming from Houston, Kansas and Colorado all met here for a wonderful few days! The pictures and descriptions don’t do this property enough justice, everything exceeded our expectations! Our ages ranged from 10-68 and a wonderful stay, plenty of space to relax and FUN TIMES were had by all. Cathy is an exceptional host. She communicated with us through the whole process and even had yummy kolaches for us upon arrival. Checking in and checking out was a breeze. Should we have had any issues (which we didn’t!) I felt assured that we could reach her and hear back from her quickly. Thank you Cathy for hosting our family, many wonderful memories were made. We highly recommend this property!

Surprise Party For "Little" Sister
Ended up staying 2 nights and 3 days. The stay was for a surprise birthday party for my little sister that was turning 30. The place is beyond amazing for a city get-away and just hangout in the country and enjoy the country life. The property manager Miss Cathy was even more amazing. She was easy to reach, answered all of my questions, and made our stay super easy. As for the house, it is greatly designed for multiple families to stay together and not be in each others way. Being able to hangout outside and not be a bother to the neighbors nor being bothered by the neighbors was a plus. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place to others and stay there again myself.

Wedding Weekend
I booked this property for my family and me to stay at while we attended my sister's wedding in Smithville. There were 12 people total in my group and this place could not have been more perfect. The house and surrounding property are exactly as advertised and only a 10-minute drive from the wedding venue. There was plenty of room for all of us to sleep comfortably. Not only is the property beautiful but Cathy went out of her way to be extremely accommodating. The hot tub was not working at the time of our stay, so she refunded us some money and allowed us to check-in early. She had also recently replaced the sleeper sofa so she opened up an extra room and bathroom for us for no extra charge. Everyone in our group was more than pleased. Money well spent. 10/10 would recommend.

The perfect getaway
I planned a covid friendly bachelorette with 8 girls and we had so much fun. The pool was perfect and Cathy even had some floats all ready to go for us! The brownies she had waiting for us at check in were delicious and such a sweet extra touch. Everything was super clean and organized, and the beds were all very comfy. The second fridge in the laundry room was perfect for all our extra food and drinks, and made grabbing a cold coke to take by the pool super convenient. The house was beautiful, and the property was nicely landscaped and they both made for perfect backdrops to all our pictures. At night the stars are an incredible view and the porch swing is the perfect place to sit and enjoy the evening sounds of the countryside. I wish we could have stayed longer. I would recommend this house a million times over!

Graduation Get Together
Two families came together to celebrate my Daughter’s accomplishments of graduating from College. Cathy’s property is beautiful, plenty of space. Grandkids loved the pool. We would definitely rent from her again.
