Tranquil paradise

Beautiful Casita
My husband and I had a wonderful 4 night stay at the casita. Marcus was the perfect host - extremely communicative and full of helpful recommendations. The casita is perfectly situated, about a 10 minute walk outside the centre of Soller with incredible views of the town and the mountains. The pool area is very private and is ideal for relaxing. The casita itself is very well equipped and even nicer than the pictures. Outdoor cat Scruffy was an added bonus! If you are looking for a place in Soller then I would not hesitate to recommend Marcus and Tiffany’s place. We would love to return!

A Wonderful Location
We really enjoyed our stay in Soller, particularly the views in the evening. It was a good base from which to explore all parts of the island. Our host, Marcus was very responsive to any questions we had, and we returned feeling relaxed and looking forward to returning to Soller in the future.

Das Haus und das Anwesen ist ein Kraftort und beste Ausgangslage für die Inselerkundung
Schon der Empfang war sehr emphatisch und persönlich. Wir hatten das Gefühl nach Hause zu kommen. An den schönen Tagen erwachten wir mit dem Sonnenaufgang und genossen das Frühstück auf der Terrasse oder am Pool. Jeden Abend wurden wir von der Hauskatze freundlichst erwartet und empfangen. Wir freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

Great Stay
The property was lovely, well maintained, clean and just perfect for our long weekend getaway. We were glad we hired a smaller car for the drive from the main road (had been advised to by the owner of the property) but the walk down to Soller was easy (slightly harder going back up but not a problem). Great restaurant recommendations from the owner too. Would return & would highly recommend.

Das Haus ist klein aber fein. Der Pool ist sauber und diskret gelegen. Der Blick in die Berge und ins Tal ist fantastisch. Marcus ist ein super Gastgeber. Die Katze ist einfach nur goldig. Auch für Menschen wie uns, die mit Katzen wenig anfangen können. Der Supermarkt ist etwa 500 Meter entfernt und die Restaurants etwa 800. Man kann also Abends einfach in den Ort schlendern und wirklich sehr gut essen gehen. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Casita auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Der Weg zum Haus ist in der Tat recht interessant: die Straße ist steil und eng. Mit einem kleinen Fahrzeug allerdings kein Problem. Ich würde aber dazu raten eine Versicherung ohne Selbstbeteiligung abzuschließen, falls man doch mal leicht aneckt.

Paradise
This is a perfect place for a paradise get away. It was nice to be away from the summer crowds yet so easy to get everywhere. It’s easy to park your house at the car with an easy walk to Soller and public transportation. Great communication from Marcus. The home is spacious yet cozy, quiet and the outdoor views are spectacular! I would definitely stay here again!

Fantastisk dejligt hus, med den skønneste udsigt, og en meget lækker pool, desuden fine udendørs møbler samt gode parasoller og ny Weber-grill . Meget veludstyret hus med alle fornødenheder tilgængelige. Marcus værten var meget venlig og servicemindet. Vejen op til huset er meget stejl, så lej den mindste bil muligt. Der er 10 min gang til veludstyret supermarked.

Wunderschön, ruhig und außerhalb gelegene Finca
Markus und Tiffany sind sogenannte superhosts. Die Finca ist etwas außerhalb des Ortes an einem kleinen Anstieg gelegen. Sehr gut auch mit dem Bus von Palma, mit einem Restfußweg von ca. 2 Minuten zu erreichen. Die Finca selber ist sehr schön. Sie bietet einen unglaublichen Panoramablick in das Gebirge. Einige Wanderwege gehen sozusagen von der Haustür los. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt. Es beinhaltet drumherum noch eine große Terrasse und einen großen Garten mit einem Pool. Die Küche ist wirklich sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Ortschaft Sóller sehr gut fußläufig zu erreichen. Marcus und Tiffany waren immer ansprechbar. Wir haben uns hier so wohl gefühlt und ich kann es zu 100 Prozent weiterempfehlen .

Balsam für die Seele
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt von einer knappen Woche sehr genossen. Die Casa bietet wie beschrieben einen atemberaubenden Ausblick auf das majestätische Tramuntana Gebirge und die wunderschöne Landschaft. Dies alles unter besten Wetterbedingungen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses mit viel Liebe zum Detail und sehr guten Küchenwerkzeugen incl. Gasherd. Einzig die Zufahrt ist eine Herausforderung für die Fahrkünste! Unbedingt ein kleines Fahrzeug wählen, optimal- bei Nässe - wäre Allrad.- Die gute Aura des Hauses rundet Scruffy ab, der an der Finca mit seinem ebenso süßen Kumpel lebt. Wir haben euch sofort lieb gewonnen! Und last but not least bleibt Marcus als professioneller und freundlicher Gastgeber. Summa summarum: Great to stay here!

Casita Magnífica
We spent three weeks in the casita and feel well qualified to give this a five star review. Cozy and comfortable home with a well equipped kitchen. Lots of privacy and sunshine. Marcus and Tiffany live just up the hill and were always available for local advice. We navigated the hill Just fine in our Fiat 500. We loved the town of Sóller and the access to hiking trails. Great location.

Wonderful Property
We loved staying here! This property is charming and comfortable and its location is stellar. The stone house is well designed, cozy, and has a nice open floor plan. The bed and couch are very comfortable. The large outdoor space is lovely, especially given that the property has a gorgeous view of the Sóller valley and mountains above it. We opted to park at the bottom of the very steep, windy, and narrow road, but enjoyed the slight extra walk as we made our way to and from town each day. We found the walk to town very quick. We loved that there was an outdoor cat - Scruffy - who stopped by to say hi from time to time. Marcus was a great host - very helpful, and went above and beyond to aid us. He is also an excellent responsive communicator. I think it may be helpful to mention that the house has non-potable water and that the hot water does not last if you need to take a particularly long shower. The short road up to the house, as mentioned, is very difficult to drive. However, in my opinion, these small inconveniences are just something to be aware of and should not dissuade anyone from staying at this wonderful home.

Perfect retreat
We stayed for three nights from January 1-4 and it was a perfect start into the New Year! Not only was the weather a real treat, with 17-20C and sunny, but the Casita is simply a dream, too. Super cosy at the fire in the evenings and very nicely decorated, with everything you need, and at a location that is marvellous, with a view on the mountains that take your breath away. The outside patio, garden and pool are lovely, too, we would have liked to have more time to enjoy it! We hiked up the mountains one day and were rewarded with a spectacular view on a mountain lake and Soller. Lots of beautiful places to explore nearby, we would love to come back and see more! Marcus is a super friendly and helpful host, gave us great advice and was always available in case of questions we had. The drive up to the house is a bit adventureous and needs a small car and good driver... but you get used to it... Thank you for this wonderful stay, Marcus and Tiffany!

Wonderful stay in Soller
The house was great. The pool was wonderful to come back to each afternoon for our siestas. The views are truly outstanding. The house comes with a little cat called scruffy too which is a lovely little addition. Marcus gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants in the area. The only thing we would say- and this apparently is a thing in all of Spain- but when you rent a house you are not supplied with things like toilet paper, hand soap etc. Not a major concern but just good for people to know before they get there. Would highly recommend this place- it was a wonderful way to end our 6 week holiday.

Die schönste Unterkunft für Zwei
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt von der ersten Minute an genossen. Der private Pool in dem man sich jederzeit ungestört erfrischen kann ist herrlich und die Aussicht ins Gebirge und auf Soller einfach traumhaft. Marcus war nur eine WhattsApp entfernt -was wir gar nicht brauchten, da wir alles hatten um uns wohl zu fühlen. Auch die Empfehlungen von Marcus sind hilfreich und sehr weiterzuempfehlen. Wir wollten gar nicht weg und werden ganz bestimmt wiederkommen!

Mehr „happy place“ geht nicht :-)
Wir haben über Ostern 6 Tage in dieser wunderschönen Casita verbracht. Die Größe des Hauses ist perfekt gemütlich für 2 Personen. Das Sofa und auch das Bett sind total bequem. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Nun aber das Wichtigste: Die Lage und der Ort sind absolut magisch und bezaubernd!! :) Ruhe pur…der perfekte Ort um die Seele baumeln zu lassen! So richtig perfekt wurde die Atmosphäre aber erst durch Scruffy, die Katze die dort an der Finca lebt! Scruffy ist eine so liebe und verschmuste Katze und für Tiermenschen wie uns wurde es durch sie perfekt! :) Ganz lieben Dank an Marcus für Alles (und auch für Deine Fürsorge Scruffy gegenüber!!).

Truly wonderful - will be back
The casita is a real gem, full of rustic charm and very comfortable with plenty of space for two people to spread out. I’m one of those funny guys who takes his pillow on holiday so that probably gives you an idea of how picky I am about my bed! The bed is extremely comfortable and perfect size for two guys. As was the sofa. The tv has every channel you could ask for but we didn’t really use it as the view from the terrace or pool deck is too amazing. The pool is wonderful, with a breathtaking view of the Soller valley. Around 4pm the huge palm tree shades one end which in August is perfect for sitting in the Roman steps reading you book and hiding from the strong sun. I exercised in it every day for 1.5hrs, admittedly I swam diagonal as it’s not huge but it is very much big enough for a 5’11” guy to get my strokes in. The casita is a 10 minute walk to Soller and a 45 min walk to the port. However it is only a couple of mins to the main road for buses and taxis, or walk to the square and get the tram to the beach if you can tear yourself away from the pool. Please listen to Marcus and rent the smallest car you can do. The narrow road up to the casita is not for large cars and there is one bend I found a little frightening but you get used to it. However when we return (and we definitely will) I might not bother with a car as it’s so well served by public transport. But it is a steep hill up to the casita but that just helps burn off the excesses of holiday. Marcus and Tiffany are marvellous hosts. We booked pre pandemic (over two years ago) and have messed around with our booking so many times we doubted we’d ever make it. They were so accommodating and reasonable each time and made it as stressless as possible. They were on hand for my daft questions (the oven is gas if like me you’re wondering why it’s hot heating 30 minutes after turning it on) and incredibly respectful of our privacy.
