Weekend Seven Springs ski
Ski trip with our young adult boys. The place was nicer and bigger than we anticipated. Everything was clean and well taken care of. We greatly enjoyed the hot tub at night. Easy drive to Seven Springs. Skiing was great. Driveway was icy, not much owners could do. Communication was great with lots of local tips for food, etc.Definitely would return.

We had a great time, went skiing at seven springs and enjoyed the hot tub to unwind at night. Kitchen was stocked and had no problem preparing our meals. Lisa was a great communicator with suggestions on area accommodations

Cozy house with a really nice hot tube. Our family felt relaxed and at home here.
We rented the house to stay at while skiing at seven springs. It was a nice drive to and from the ski resort to the house. The mud room was great to keep all the ski gear. The hot tub eased our sore muscles from skiiing and the beds were comfy!

Wonderful ski weekend
Our family had a great ski weekend at Blue Mountain Retreat. It was perfect for our group of 6. Some of us went skiing at Seven Springs, some of us went to Somerset for shopping and hung out at the cabin playing games, puzzling, reading, etc. Communication with the owner was fantastic, she always responded quickly, answering every question and assisting with any issue we had (which were few & minor). We would definitely come again and would recommend this home to others.

Weekend in Seven Springs
We had a great time at Blue Mountain Retreat. Lisa was a wonderful host and communication. was clear and helpful for an easy check in/check out of the house. The house was so cute and perfect for our group of 6 for a weekend away. The hot tub was great for relaxing after a day at the mountain. Definitely recommend!

3 Night Ski Trip Perfection
House was clean and beautiful! Very comfortable and cozy for 2 adults and 5 kids and 1 dog. Outside hot tub and fire pit were enjoyed by all. The kitchen had everything that our group would ever need. Communication was excellent and check in/out was super easy. Thanks again for hosting us!

Clean & Cozy!
Lisa, the host, is absolutely amazing. She provided us with detailed information and guidance about the area. Lisa was responsive and courteous, making the entire process—from booking to check-in and checkout—very easy. This was our first time traveling to Somerset, PA, and the location was perfect for us since we planned to ski at Hidden Valley, which was only about a ten-minute drive away. The short distance made it super convenient to carry all our ski equipment, especially with exhausted kids in tow. I recommend this place for groups seeking extra room and activities. The house had plenty of board games and other entertainment options. Although we didn't get a chance to use the hot tub or enjoy the outdoor areas, the surroundings looked like they could offer a lot of fun for families and friends.

Great Family get away
The house was very clean. There is lots to do. There is darts and foosball, the hot tub and the big soaking tub. My family used everything there and had a great time. The host is super nice and answers questions asap! Would definitely stay here again. There are very close neighbors but no one was renting their other cabin while we were there. We were able to bring our dog along too which was great!

Amazing spot for a weekend ‘retreat.’
Our family enjoyed a perfect fall weekend at the Blue Mountain retreat. Amazing location with close proximity to so many great hiking trails! Very clean home with all the amenities one would need. We loved grilling, looking at the stars from the hot tub, and making s’mores over the fire. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. Highly recommend and hope to visit again in the future! Our entire family had a wonderful time!

Friends sharing house
The house was very clean, fully stocked with kitchen appliances and tools, and located on a quiet street. It was a reasonable price since we split the cost between 7 of us. If you were to reserve it for 8 people, make sure that some of you are okay with sleeping in bunkbeds. There is a queen and king size bed and 2 sets of bunk beds (4 beds). Lisa, the owner, was excellent with communicating information.

Perfect weekend getaway
My family and I had a fantastic time at Blue Mountain Retreat! The house was perfect; updated, clean, and cozy. 5 adults, 1 teen, and 2 kids fit comfortably. The fire pit was a great place to hang out and the hot tub was just icing on the cake! The host was super responsive and kind. Would definitely stay again! Highly recommend!!

Family reunion in Laurel Highlands
We spent a weekend at the Blue Mountain Retreat for a family reunion. Lisa is a 5-star host - responsive to inquiries, gracious and resourceful with many suggestions for things to do in the area. The house is beautiful and comfortable, and we felt right at home! We enjoyed the hot tub, grill, fire pit and star gazing! Great location near to State parks with lots of hiking options and Glades Pike Winery. Thank you, Lisa and Jamie!

Excellent Relaxing Weekend
We stayed 2 nights and had a great time. Everything is as it states in the listing. I lived the repurposing if items in the house and the unique embellishments. The hot tub was perfect to relax in. Host was great ar keeping in touch with us during our stay!

Clean, well maintained, well stocked w everything for kitchen, grilling etc & even games! The hot tub was new & very clean. Loved the outdoor firepit! Very spacious inside & great to have new washer & dryer to use. Would definitely book it again. Host was very helpful w trip ideas & answering any requests or questions. Kitchen & bathrooms were newly remodeled & very nice. Awesome French door fridge w lots of room for all our provisions!

Blue Mountain Retreat is a winner!
We loved staying at Lisa’s home in the mountains of Somerset. The house was beautiful - updated and very comfortable. Lisa was knowledgeable of the area and communication with her was quick and efficient when we needed to ask her a question about something. The backyard was perfect! The fire pit is spacious and the hot tub was very clean and relaxing. The location was great, too. Kooser state park is basically across the street and provides a beautiful walking path along the lake. Laurel hill state park is a very short drive and was absolutely gorgeous. We also visited Idlewild which was an easy 35 minute drive. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again in the future!

Relaxing retreat
My family loved our stay at the Blue Mountain Retreat. Cabin was exactly as described, clean, cozy and had everything we needed. Golf Trip
This is an awesome property! We stayed with 8 guys and slept comfortably with plenty of space to sleep and plenty of space to hang out as a group. The backyard was great with all the amenities. Lisa is amazing! She is extremely thorough and makes sure you have everything you need. Look no further if you have 2 groups wanting play golf at 7 springs and hidden valley!

The house is so cozy and well stocked. The decor and kitchen ware was of superior quality. We loved the fire pit and foosball table. Our dog enjoyed the backyard. The owner was very responsive and provided wonderful local suggestions and information. We would stay there again.

Relaxing stay
Lisa went above and beyond helping us to settle into the cabin. She gave us so many wonderful suggestions for fun activities and great food…all within a short drive. The cabin is charming, comfortable and well stocked. We throughly enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor fire pit. It was a great place to relax and reconnect!

July 4th getaway
My family had a wonderful holiday weekend at Blue mountain retreat! Lisa the host was super responsive and helpful. She left a long list of suggestions for the area and there was no shortage on things to do. The house was lovely, well kept, spacious, and pleasantly secluded away without being too far from the major road. I especially love the mudroom because it kept all our outdoor items outside of the main house. Along with my family was my two dogs who enjoyed the space as well. There was plenty of room for them to sniff outdoors and plenty of space to set their crates up within the house. I will definitely recommend this to anyone in the future whether summer, fall, winter, or spring!
