However, it's easy to forgive this given obvious age and charm of the building and its lovely location. Maison avec cheminée ouverte au top pour les soirées fraiches. Nous avons passé un excellent week end, proprio à l'écoute et personne qui accueille d'une gentillesse rare. Un vrai havre de paix, nous recommandons vivement!"

"Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre petit séjour à Bures en Bray. Paysages magnifiques et ballades le long de la voie verte où nous avons pu découvrir de jolis villages encore dans leur « jus » ! "A lovely place with a welcoming and helpful host who lives on site. Rouen is easily accessed with frequent buses. The place is secure and quiet (The church next door only rang its bells on Sunday) with a very pretty garden. The garden can only be accessed up a flight of steps outside so not accessible for all. Everything was as described, although the Internet is not fast. We had a great stay at Janine’s place exploring Rouen and the surrounding area."

"The stay was nice, view from the property is wonderful and it's very quiet and relaxing. The interior is very outdated and the minimum necessities in the house are provided. If the weather is bad and you're there with 10 people, there is not enough room in the living room to have dinner or to just relax and hang out. On the positive side, there are plenty of beds and there's plenty of room to sleep for 10 people."

"Our Canadian add UK family met here for a much anticipated reunion. This is a gorgeous property that provided plenty of space for ten adults and six children. The house is lovely with a well stocked kitchen, lots of comfortable sitting areas, and a great patio where we sat outside for meals and evening chats. The grounds are beautiful and we really enjoyed the big pool. Kate was a lovely, helpful host. All in all a great stay! "
