"We were at Cutis’s lovely home for 3 nights over the Thanksgiving weekend. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with the kids and grandkids. There was something for everyone there! "We enjoyed a short family vacation on lake Haliburton. The cottage was clean with well stocked kitchen for 4 people. We enjoyed time on the large dock with beautiful views of the lake. "My family and I rented this cottage based on the past reviews and the cottage description. Unfortunately, the cottage was not properly described and was filthy when we arrived. We were assured by the owners that the cottage has been cleaned, but we did send photos of both buildings that proved otherwise. A cleaner was sent a day later but by then, we had already cleaned a bit. The kitchen had a tap that wasn't properly attached, stinky dish cloths, oven mitts with holes, drawers and cupboards...
