My thoughts are the same as Wendy G's post in July 2022. Could have been cleaner, the outside needed dire attention and it was dim inside. The Dish was ok. My husband cleaned the leaves off and trimmed the branches around it, which made it a little better, but there is Netflix. Did not use the hot tub. Wendy mentioned the shower head being broken. The bracket was still broken in September. My husband taped the shower head to the broken bracket so it was durable. I did call the property manager, who was very nice and appreciated the call, to report it. No problem with Jimbo's noise, but it was last week in September. We did have a fire and could hear someone comment from the parking lot what a nice fire it was. Sound does travel in a valley and every night we did have a nice fire. The outside chairs are pretty beat up and no cushions, but we brought our own lawn chairs. Wood can be bought at many places turning left out of the driveway and down the road. We did buy Victor mouse traps and caught the one I saw, but not unusual for a wooded area. We set another trap and caught nothing. We brought our own cooking skillets and cooking utensils, which I was glad we did. There were no large storage bowls for our salad so we bought two and left them there for the next people. Also bought and left a notebook and pen for your shopping list. The water is well water, which I would think is common in that area, but never entered my mind, nor did I see anything mentioning it. So we bought a gallon of water for coffee. My cousin and wife stayed at the KOA campground and it was well water too. The area is close to the tourist spots, as well as Logan that has the Walmart and restaurants. We did Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, Conklin Hallow, the Stone House (my favorite), Hocking Hills Winery and John Glenn Astronomy Park. Two tour guides were there at the time and were so interesting and passionate about the park. We rented a Pontoon boat in Logan for my husband to fish. The driveway is very steep, but the host makes that perfectly clear. I don't think a car would have much luck. In my opinion this is not a place for little children. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved Hocking Hills.
