"Our cabin was absolutely immaculate - not one negative. We walked 50 metres to the restaurant, best Chinese meal ever. Rotary ran raffles, complex absolutely packed so obviously Evans Head has a very supportive community. Great atmosphere, friendly locals - loved our stay in Evans Head - we will definitely return."

"Overall the property was agreeable and we enjoyed our stay. The downsides were: limited toilet paper (perhaps a small issue but 3 rolls for a week is stingy - are we expected to provide our own?), there were no replacement rubbish bags for the rubbish and compost receptacles (again are we expected to provide our own?), the A/C is only in the main lounge/dining/kitchen room so the bedrooms with the queen beds were hot. The tower fan provided was completely inadequate it would struggle to blow out...

"Appliances inside the property need to be updated for example dishwasher door didn’t close, bbq is rusty would not cook my food on it, Hot plates did not get very hot and oven didn’t heat up at all and no regular drinking glasses if these were fixed or replaced would recommend this property to family and friends. A clothes dryer would of been nice to dry linen and towels for when it rains."

"I’m of the belief light should have working bulbs, grass in the barren back yard should be less than 50cms tall, doors should not be peeling. The photos are very very cleverly taken. It’s a lovely loungeroom area with a view with the most basic plain house and bedrooms tacked on the back. The access to downstairs is external and shabby. The back yard is a yard with grotty filthy concrete and long unkept grass. It is far from worth the money.the view was the redemption, it’s almost 3 weeks since...

"Staying across from IGA was terrible. Trucks start delivering from 4.30am and go all day. Front and back steps seemed very dangerous. Rooms had very poor lighting. The timber floor steps in each room are an accident waiting to happen ( i kicked my foot into one ) The flies overtook the kitchen (no screen door on back French doors. We won’t stay at this property again😭😭"

"Large house with enough room for our family, very well equipped with more than enough utensils etc. plus extras such as cooking oil, sauces, dressings etc. Plenty of towels, toilet paper and cleaning products. Comfortable beds and nice linen. Two huge balconies with lots of table space and chairs plus a great BBQ. "Location close to town centre, river and beaches. Unfortunate that 3 light globes, including bed lamps were blown. TV remote did not work until batteries were replaced. Small issues that should have been dealt with before our stay. That aside we enjoyed our stay in a well equipped unit and safe, lock up garage."

"Lovely simple decor without clutter, clean and functional. Quiet area. The only negative was that the kitchen blind did not close, feeling exposed to neighbouring properties in the evening when the lights were on, though a simple fix to replace."
