"The place was roomy and accommodating. We had 4 guys, so it was nice not to have to share beds and to be able to spread out the snorers. "Overall a pleasant place to stay for a few nights. The little cabin was clean and cozy. The down side is the traffic on Wolf Creek pass can be heard inside the cabin. There is a black widow living under the wood burning stove. The bathtub is very slow to drain. I would book this for a weekend getaway again. "

"It was lovely we hiked a lot , Pagosa Hot Springs did a little tubing down the Rio Grande! Did a fair amount of hot tubbing in the evening. It’s a beautiful area with lots to do! The cabin was nicely, nestled and felt very private."

"The lodge was great and met all our needs. However, the ad of yours does not tell you that a major highway was just a 150-200 feet away from the back of the lodge. Major traffic was constant and took away from the experience and kept us up at night. It was hard to enjoy the outside deck with all that traffic roaring by...especially the truck traffic. "

"This was one of the nicest VRBO properties we have stayed in. The house, the location and views were beautiful…right on the Rio Grande and Mountain View’s in the front and back. The back porch is very comfortable and an awesome fire pit (wood provided). The kitchen and appliances are top notch. The only warning is that the larger beds have very firm mattresses. "

"Overall it is a good place to stay, you are right on the river, though there is not access to the river. I would have liked to give the house four stars but there were a few problems. The house had no bath for our toddler which should be noted in the listing. Also, a few niggling problems that were small but annoying.
