Great house!
We loved our stay. The house was huge and had plenty of space for everyone. We loved that we could separate the early risers from the late sleepers. The pool was the best part!

Excellent location and property
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic property, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience! With ample space for all 17 of us, we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The layout was perfect for our large group, allowing us to enjoy both togetherness and privacy when needed. The pool was a highlight, providing endless fun and relaxation for everyone. We also loved the hot tub, which was a fantastic way to unwind after a day of exploring. We encountered a minor issue with the hot tub during our stay, but the owner was incredibly responsive and had it fixed within just a couple of hours. Their commitment to ensuring a great experience truly stood out. The property's private lot offered a sense of seclusion, while still being conveniently located near the beach and some fantastic local breweries. It was the perfect balance of tranquility and accessibility. Overall, we had an amazing time and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a spacious and enjoyable getaway. We can't wait to return!

South Haven 2024 Vacation
We had 13 adults and 3 kids for this year’s Family vacation. We found the Hideway to be a great place to stay. Loved the indoor pool, a big hit. The house is huge, very well stocked and very clean. Manager is very responsive. Loved Lake Michigan beaches, boated in Paw Paw Lake and shopped downtown. A great time had by all.

Great for families!
This is a fantastic property for a three generation family get together. Plenty of seating inside and outside for all 18 of us to be at the table together. The yard is so perfect for children - safe, flat, spacious. The grandchildren played soccer and whiffle ball. We held our Family Olympics outside. The indoor pool is a huge plus on cool Michigan days. Super well-equipped kitchen. Anytime we had an issue, no matter how minor, the property manager took care of it within minutes. Our family had an amazing time!

South Haven Family Reunion
Had plenty of room for our family group of 11 adults and 15 kids. All bathrooms are shared. Had an issue with a circuit breaker popping off, but overall we had a very pleasant stay.

Family week
We had a group of 22 ranging from infants to 65. We had a great time and the set up of the house worked well for our needs. We had a few hiccups, but they were addressed in a timely matter. The only drawback was that the WiFi was pretty spotty. We had a few that worked remotely. They were able to get it done, but it took a little creativity. Overall it was great!

Family reunion
This was a perfect place for our large family reunion. We had 20+ family members. Several family members traveled from California, Arizona, New Mexico, Idaho, Ohio and Illinois. Detroit airport and Midway in Chicago were reasonable drives for them. The kitchen area and dining table was perfect for our large family gathering for meals and games. Outside eating was equally as accommodating for meals off the grill and fire time in the evenings. The bedrooms in the guest wing( rooms 1,2,3 and 4) are each accessible from an outside door or you have to pass through each room from the inside. Not a deal breaker and we were all family. The inside pool area and hot tub were perfect for our late May/early June stay as the weather did not affect our water play. The grounds were well maintained with flowers and hanging baskets and we enjoyed some outside family games in the large front yard. We would definitely consider this for a future family gathering

Great Memorial Day Weekend
Had 5 families and the facility was perfect with every family having their own room and separate room for the kids. The indoor pool and sauna were great fun. Also the spacious yard and fire pit were spot on. I highly recommend this place for groups of 20+!

Great place to stay!
Our large family went here. House was exceptionally clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could ask for. The pool area was warm, and the water was warm. The kids enjoyed every minute of it. The house was extremely quiet, so you could always find a quiet place if needed. Would highly recommend!

Family Getaway
This was a beautiful area to get away in October. The trees surrounding the property were displaying their full fall colors. It is located just minutes from the South Haven Pier and Lake Michigan. The indoor pool was very nice. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything to cook and serve meals. We loved that we could all sit together in the dining room. The patio was very nice to enjoy the evening campfire. The playground set was a nice touch for our little ones.

Family Trip
The house was fantastic! The weather was a little crummy but with the indoor pool and large kitchen, we had plenty of options to stay entertained! The kitchen was the top hangout spot for our big group because it allowed for everyone to be together to talk, play games, enjoy meals, and just hang out. We had no issues with anything at the house! It was very comfortable and accommodating for all 21 of us. We also very much enjoyed Sam, the photographer and would recommend him to anyone staying and needing a photographer. Thank you so much for sharing your space with us!

Great place for family gatherings
It is hard to find a place that will accommodate 20 people. This does fill the bill. It has a nice heated pool built in. They had 2 commercial stoves and 2 commercial refrigerators. They also have a very long table that we could seat everyone. Everything was good. A few things that not expected was that you would need to go through one bedroom to get to some of the bathrooms or would need to go outside and re-enter to avoid going through another bedroom. The other thing that was different is that the beds did not have the linen on them. It was put neatly at the foot of the bed and you would need to make your own beds. I can see the reason for this, as you may not use all of the beds. But this is the first time that I have seen this. The building was very comfortable with the heating. And we enjoyed our stay very much.

Amazing week!
We had a group of 16, including 8 kids under the age of 8. The house is amazing for a big group. The weather is typical of Michigan so having an indoor pool was worth it. The kids lived in the pool or outside in the play structure. The train car rooms situation on the one story side was not ideal but we made it work. We hired a vacation chef for the week and the kitchen was great for them. Laundry in the pool area made it super easy to keep fresh clothes around. An amazing week!

Because of the layout of the house,our family did things together. The big kitchen where a specific group prepared meals, thanks to 2 refrigerators, 2 stoves, 2 dishwashers and plenty of dishes and glassware. We also bonded around the fire pit, large dining table, and big pool area.

Good place for a family vacation.
We had a great week in South Haven. The house met our needs and expectations. The weather was ideal. The house is close to many attractions and beaches. We made good use of the large outdoor area, patio and firepit. The children really enjoyed the pool. The house floorplan is quirky, but worked for our three generation family of 19 people. We were able to make nice meals in the well-appointed kitchen. Zero issues, plenty of towels and linens. Tons of space. Friendly and responsive management.

Awesome house
Great place to stay...Loved pool, kitchen, outside property, lots of bedrooms. Only suggestions....for that many beds and bedrooms, need more bathrooms and a hot tub inside or out would really be fabulous. A garbage disposal would be nice. Other than that really awesome!!

This was perfect for our large family…the pool became the common gathering area for the our family with different age range. The bunk beds were the least desired rooms however , given that our teens were too tall for them. The close proximity to Holland was a plus because it had great shopping and restaurants
