It was 90 degrees on the day we arrived, and we were concerned that the descriptors said 'no air conditioning', so we brought fans from home. When we arrived, there are air conditioned rooms on the first floor, and once we vot the plentiful windows open, the house quickly filled with cool air off the lake.
The access directly to the lake is down two flights of stairs... there's plenty of seating on the deck, but also two chairs on a landing down by the lake. The water was perfect, and the rocky lakebed gently slopes down, perfect for wading or swimming.
The house had everything we needed, including some cooking items (oil, etc) already stocked. It was a perfct 5 days of much needed r&r, though we did venture out to Stowe one day. We visited the Shelburne Museum and Downtown Burlington on the way here (both highly recommended). Visited the local apple farm, etc., but had a great time just relaxing on tge deck and in the water.
Perfect!
