You Probably Don't Want To Stay Here
I originally selected this property because I was under the impression it was near the beach. I assumed that meant we could walk there. We never figured that out.
This feels like it used to be a small complex of efficiency apartments for seasonal workers. Everything about this unit feels old. There is vinyl flooring, the kind that comes in a roll, in the entry and the kitchen. The main area is carpeted. The floors were very dirty. I spilled some water in the kitchen within moments of arriving. I cleaned it up right away with paper towels which came up filthy. We didn't wear our shoes on the carpet, but when we took our socks off, they were very dirty.
The heating unit is ancient, built into the wall. There's no fan, it's just radiant heat, and it heats the space quickly. When it gets to the desired temp it cycles off like it should. BUT, when it cycles off, it sounds like someone shooting BBs at a metal pan. So, that will wake you up repeatedly.
There's a coffee maker, and we brought our own coffee, but there were no filters. So we bought a package and left them there for the next guest. You'll also need your own ice.
The mattress was so firm, if I slept on my side for too long, my leg on that side would start tingling.
There is no comfortable place to sit in the unit. There are 2 "hard shell" type chairs around the table for eating, but if you want to sit and read or watch TV, there is not a comfortable chair
