"The property was in a beautiful location! It was very clean and cozy. Perfect for a weekend getaway with family or friends. Even though the property was off the beaten path, there was a lot to do within 15-30 min drive. The host made great suggestions of what to see in the area! I would definitely stay at this property again. Maybe during the summer months to enjoy the lake a bit more, but I have no complaints!"

"We simply loved our stay at this back country home. Our children loved the arcade and the pond. We had a scenic 20 minute drive to Elk Mt. Ski Resort. The check in was super smooth and the house sparkling clean. We cant wait to come again on our next ski trip to Elk!!!"

"Spruce Haven is absolutely beautiful and a perfect place for family gatherings. It had everything right there that we all like to do. The home was clean and tidy. "I did a solo trip (+pup) to reset after a particularly rough work season. The cabin was lovely, rustic worn furniture but cozy and comfortable. The house was packed with the essentials including fire wood. There was a smart tv mounted in the living room and the water pressure was perfect in the shower. "My friends and I stayed at Ivans house and it was exactly as described in the listing. Each room had a full pull out bed and sheets for each. The pool, hot tub and sauna were great features. The house is right on a highway but we hardly noticed and this didnt effect our experience. Id recommend this house for anyone who just wants a great property to relax at and not need to leave for a long weekend."

"The property is spacious, well appointed, and comfortable. We stayed with 4 adults and 4 dogs. The sunsets are beautiful off the Susquehanna. Dogs used the boat ramp to swim. Privacy and idyllic. We enjoyed the fire pit, grill, and eating outside on the deck. There is no formal table seating, but enough stools on the big island if you need to eat indoors. All in all, a lovely, relaxing, easy 3 days."
