"It was mouldy all around the windows and in the shower room and the bed sheets were dirty they're covered with dirty all the quilt covers were dirty the mattress was all dirty yellow when they should have been white mattresses the cupboard door was hanging off and there was a hole in this ceiling "

"Only thing was the cracked tile on the bathroom floor, annoying every time you stepped on it . Also we didn’t get our room serviced on the 2nd day . Breakfast was lovely and the room was nice . "

"We had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it. The room was spotlessly clean, warm, and incredibly comfortable — we felt at home straight away. The location was perfect, making it easy to get around, and the owner was very attentive and welcomin. The only difficulty for us was that food isn’t permitted in the rooms, which unfortunately wasn’t stated on the booking site when we made our reservation. "Fabulous three nights spent at this gem of a guest house. Steve and Elaine were perfect hosts, going above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice, room and bathroom were as good as they could be. Comfortable bed and powerful shower (always a must in my book) were spot on. Parking available for a decent price. The Arthington is a winner in Blackpool and fully deserves all its plaudits."

"Kelly the host is really nice. Very up to date decor, however room wasnt the cleanest. Couldnt use two of the pillows as they smelt mouldy and were dirty cases Our room (101) came with two keys, one for room and one for front door which was explained, however our door couldnt lock. I phoned Kelly and she explained she would come and check it out within 10 mins. Upon arriving back at hotel having been out all day, our room was still unlocked.
