"Fantastic location and accommodation! Very spacious cabin for 8 people, with a fantastic view! A clean space and clean facilities provided. Clear instructions were provided prior to our arrival and host was easy to get in touch with if needed! We had a great weekend exploring the outdoors and returning to this cosy space! "

"This was a perfect home base for our large family gathering (10 ppl ranging in age from 3-70). Close to Oban but far enough removed that it’s away from city traffic and is quiet and relaxing. Large, clean space, very comfortable for our large group. Would stay again!"

"This place is for people who love peace and quiet and privacy, we do. Noise from the road is almost minimal, perhaps if you sit in the front garden but we spent all time in the back garden watching sunrises, ships passing by, listening to bird songs early morning, fishing from the private beach. Location worked well for us, we used our car to get around, nearest supermarket is in Dunoon about 15 minutes drive away. "From the outside this accommodation does not look promising- a ground floor property in a block of council flats, the shared hallway is pretty bleak. But the flat itself was fine, a bit basic but it had everything we needed, nice and clean, plenty of towels, quiet despite being next to a busy road. "The Glenburn has seen better days. The decor is a bit tired and in need of refurb as as the bathrooms. But. it's clean, tidy, food was good, staff were terrific. So as budget stays go, it's hard to beat. The building itself looks like a 5 star hotel in images but that's not the case internally anymore. Wouldn't take much to transform the place, but i guess the investment vs return just isn't there anymore - which is a shame."
