"Although we live only 25 minutes away, we had never been to this lake. Definitely off the grid as written and we found the cottage charming as a 1922 cottage could be. We were surprised at the noise from a local event center on Sunday evening, but they got quiet after 10pm. Boaters were active until 11pm on the weekends which also surprised us. "This property provides direct access to a lovely lake for kayaking and swimming. It is also a terrific location for Berkshire musts such as Jacob's Pillow and Tanglewood. The owner is quickly responsive to questions and directions for check in were easy to follow. The house has strong WiFi for any work days you have while traveling. Highly recommend and look forward to staying there again in the future! "

"7 family members and my daughters bff. We had plenty of room for everyone. Great location to places we needed to go to. Plenty of parking, great neighborhood. Host was great in responding when needed them, couldn’t find the remote for the sailing fan. Plenty of space for people to sit and eat. Plenty of space for us to sit in the living room talk and play games. Great kitchen for cooking. Nice size fridge for all your food and drinks. Highly recommend this host and their house!!Thank you again "

"From beginning to end, could not have dreamed of a better island getaway, in the Berkshire’s none-the -less. Bill was a wonderful host. Very friendly, responsive and helpful. Super welcoming. The home was simple, quaint, and super cozy. Perfect for a nice long relaxing weekend for both the dogs and people. The views from the sun room were lovely. The deck/patio area had a beautiful view of the water. The fire pit was a nice perk in the evening. Surrounded by water, the place felt so private....

"Smooth and straightforward check-in process. They were accommodating to our schedule and communicated everything in a timely manner. House was clean and everything looked as listed. Kitchen was well stocked with up to date appliances and plenty of utensils which was a nice surprise. Plenty of space for 7 of us, would suggest bringing an air mattress though if with a larger party. Overwhelming positive experience overall. "
