The location is absolutely perfect! The view from the deck and two of the bedrooms is nothing short of spectacular. The house is so warm and welcoming. Every bed, even the twin beds were very comfortable and that is from my 55 year old brother who thought he had been demoted (he was the last one to arrive) but insisted on staying in the single bed when my nephew left and a king bed opened.The water pressure is fantastic throughout the house. As all of the women in the house were over 50, the zoned air conditioning was a blessing in addition to ceiling fans in every room as well as on the deck which made the warm evenings so pleasant.My niece and sister enjoyed the hot tub a number of times and beach towels are provided.We enjoyed the fire pit and corn hole as well.The closest major grocery store was 20 minutes away but Walmart delivers for free and will do with in 3 hours for a 5 fee…totally worth it!We did have a toilet back up one day but Stacey the host contacted Tim the property manager who was there with in minutes and took care of it.We had nine people and everyone had a wonderful and comfortable stay. Would definitely stay again.

The Haven was the perfect spot for our family reunion. There was plenty of sleeping space for all of us and having 4 and a half bathrooms was amazing!The floor plan is interesting, but it worked out great for us. The 2nd master suite is apparently part of an addition to the house. I think the “bunk room” used to be the garage and the 2nd master suite was the attic above it. It’s very nicely done with a sitting area outside the bedroom area with access to a full bathroom from both spaces. It was a perfect spot for grandparents to go to bed earlier and not hear any ruckus from the other end of the house. Access to the room requires going downstairs and then back up another set of stairs, but it’s also accessible by going out on the deck and using the sliding glass door to the bedroom - if you don’t feel like doing stairs. It was a bit confusing at first, but worked out really great. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. The view from the deck is incredible and it’s where the whole family spent the majority of our time. Thank you Stacey for sharing your space with us and giving us the opportunity to create memories with our children and grandchildren.

July 4th weekend with the family!

We had a much needed family get-away! This house was exactly what we needed. Grandkids loved all being together in the kids room with all the bunkbeds, the adults enjoyed having there own spacious bedrooms. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings on the upper deck. We rented a pontoon from Sligo Marina and had a wonderful day on Center Hill Lake. Hopefully we can make this a yearly tradition!

Great place

The Host was very accommodating- i had to change my dates not once but twice and she made it so easy to do. Place was perfect for our family- we like to put boat in at sligo- as thats the calmer end of lake. This house was within 10 minutes of Sligo dock. Also like to head to Cookeville for dinner and movie and the house is in good spot for that as well. We have adult children and we had a blast playing ping pong, darts and foosball in the evenings. House was well equipped with any game to play. Having 3 rooms with king size beds also a plus. There are also queen bed and bunk room with about 6 twin beds ( no grandkids yet so we didnt need them):). Kitchen well stocked. Will definitely be booking this place again.

Knitting get-a-way

8 of us traveled to The Haven for a girls knitting weekend. We had a wonderful time. We had a problem lighting the fireplace which was explained to us over the phone and fixed quickly. We hope to do this again next year. SSKs

Extended family weekend getaway

The house was perfection! Plenty of room to spread out to have your own space. The game room was a highlight for all ages! We enjoyed all of the games. The hot tub was clean and had a speaker that we used to play our music. We brought firewood and used the fire pit as well. Kitchen had everything that we needed. The view was outstanding. We drove to Burgess Falls State Park-about 20 minutes away. Highly recommend this house.

Wonderful Family Getaway!

We loved this house! The view was wonderful and the house was very clean and spacious. My children loved the basement game room and we all loved the hot tub and fire pit. My favorite thing was sitting on the deck and watching the view of the lake and the deer that came into the yard everyday. This property was very peaceful and perfect for our family vacation. We hope to return soon.

This was the perfect property for our large family during an out of town wedding. Communication with the owner was fast and easy, the house was super clean and very well stocked for any need, and the view was breathtaking. A quiet setting made for a wonderfully relaxing stay. Great space!

Overall, this place is amazing. Since it is a ways from town, you might want to bring extra paper towels and toilet paper since they only provide enough to get started. The space is great. We had a one year old with us and they had a pack and play available to use and the room he was in was far away from the rest of the house so he was able to take naps and sleep well. It was great having the baby monitor and being able to enjoy him while he was both awake and sleeping! the family had places to spread out and we all really had a great time hanging out, playing games inside and out. Stacey was very responsive and a great host. Highly recommend this place.

Delightful!

Our family traveled to Sparta for a wedding. The house was spacious, clean, with great views. There were plenty of options to keep everyone entertained including relaxing in the hot tub. Plenty of parking and the host was very responsive. Will definitely keep it on a return option list.

Great Getaway!

We stayed at The Haven during the recent snow to celebrate a friend’s 40th. It was so nice to all be under one roof. The Haven had everything we needed and was a great layout for three families. The kids loved the downstairs area, and we had plenty of room to play games, work puzzles, eat our meals, etc. We enjoyed the view and the hot tub, too. When we arrived the bottom room had begun to flood (a frozen pipe busted), but Stacey and Klaas were so responsive and quick to get us the help we needed. The room was back to normal in no time! I would recommend The Haven and hope to one day return.
