A Perfect Home Base
This place is perfect for a home base while visiting my daughter at school. Check in process was really easy. Slept comfortably.

This property is very noisy with the freeway noise. Not a lot has been done to insulate it from that issue. There is no cutting board and the knives are very cheap. Cutting an onion was a difficult task cause the larger knives kept bending and were very dull. The cable did not work so we were unable to watch TV and there is not streaming option or way to cast your phone. The bed is very firm which is not to my liking. It didn’t cause any aches or pains but made for unrestful sleeping. Overall you could tell there is not a lot of care put into the property. Kind of a you get what you pay for type deal.

The noise
The apartment was decent and in good shape. The neighborhood and placement is in a very loud area. Bring positioned directly adjacent to an I-90 on ramp assures that you will continuously hear cars accelerating to acheive freeway speed. Tge next issue is the bugs. I am assuming they were small cockroaches. They were in the sink and the tub mostly in the bathroom. They would scatter when the light came on.

Much bigger than expected
Great house and an easy drive to the conference center. I’d love to see the window coverings fixed/updated. Our second night was not so great due to the ridiculous and loud renters upstairs. The homeowner was super apologetic about it. It was one of those situations that there was no easy fix. Someone else did text them and they contacted the people upstairs and they did finally, after a time quiet down. Again, really no fix but also not the homeowners fault and they did what they could when they could. I would stay here again.

Nice getaway
Stayed one night, it was really a clean and nice place to stay. However, it is next to frwy and the noise was a bit much...turned the air and tv on to drown out the noise and then it was fine.

Good place if you need to be by the medical centers.
This would be a great place if you need to be right by the medical centers. My wife and I were just wanting a little romantic getaway on south hill. The owner was great with communication, even let us check in early due to the smoke. Good location, cute apartment. It seemed clean at first glance, but it was not great. The intake on the a/c unit is gross, there a bunch of hair in the tub, the dishes were dirty. The unit looks like it needs maintanance. The bedroom closet door is leaning against the wall, there is a light hanging partially out of the ceiling in the hallway. The bed room ceiling fan has a large amount of dust built up on the blades. We didn’t want to turn it on despite the heat because of the dust. The last thing I would like to bring up is the noise. This is right along the freeway. Based on other reviews I though maybe the house well insulated for sound, but that was not the case. There is freeway noise all day, and there was a ton of noise in the building as well. There was some kind of construction going on that started about 7 in the morning, lots of banging and drills running. Not a great place if you are looking to stay in, but like I said it would be great if you just need to be next to the medical centers.

Great location!!! Great price!
My husband & I stayed at 5th ave while visiting family. Everyone was impressed with the location & price. AMAZING LOCATION close to all of the tourist attractions or EASY ACCESS to I90/anywhere you want to go. I was hesitant with the parking description but there is more than enough spaces to park. Renter had great communication, I wish more were like her. Would stay here again for sure!!!
