Christmas Getaway

Perfect Retreat Setting – Beautiful and Well-Appointed
Our stay at the Glass House was nothing short of amazing! The property is stunning, with breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere that made it the perfect location for our retreat. The house is impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Barbara, the host, was incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. She clearly puts great care into ensuring her guests have a memorable experience. We especially appreciated the spacious layout, which allowed for both quiet moments of reflection and lively group gatherings. The kitchen was well-equipped, making meal prep for our group a breeze. Awesome weekend for a reunion with friends
Spring Green was a great halfway point for meeting up with friends. Three couples shared this beautiful house for a low key weekend. This unique property had everything we were looking for. The house is well-maintained, was fully stocked (especially the kitchen), and offers a spacious layout. The setting is beautiful. Barbara was a wonderful host.

Lovely Weekend at the Glass House!
Long time women friends enjoyed our weekend at the Glass House. The driftless area of WI is beautiful. We had great sunny fall weather. It only rained at night. We chose to stay at the house for dinner both Friday and Saturday nights and sat on the deck and took in the gorgeous view, yakked, watched a movie, lounged. Very comfortable, beautiful home. I’d love to return in the winter!

Stunning views of Wi bluffs surrounded by prairie grassland.
Evening night sky filled with view of the constellations and bright stars. Comfortable large outdoor spaces on multiple decks with plenty of seating and entertaining Incredible outdoor views can also be seen from indoor living space.

A beautiful oasis
Our group of three loved everything about this home. We came for American Players Theatre but the Glass House was truly the highlight of our trip. If you are looking to book in the Spring Green area, don’t pass up the opportunity to stay at this beautiful, one-of-a-kind property!

Lovely, quiet house and acreage
We ( three friends) really enjoyed our stay here. The house is comfortable and has everything we needed. The beds are comfortable and the house is spacious. We loved the many windows and the beautiful views. Drinking coffee on the deck in the morning and watching and listening to the plentiful birds was a treat. The house is convenient to Talesien and other Frank Lloyd Wright attractions. I highly recommend this place to stay!

Charming home with a beautiful country setting
My friends and I loved staying in this unique home in the countryside close to House on the Rocks and Taliesin. Its walls of glass doors allowed a wonderful view of the meadow and sunsets. The home was well stocked with kitchen, linens and bathroom amenities! We appreciated the helpful information left by the host.

Respite in APT Land
We four adults (college friends from long ago) stayed 3 nights in this beautiful home with inviting grounds. We saw 5 plays at APT in 3 days, and we can't wait to come back for more next year. The house is stocked with thoughtful amenities. Highly recommend this lovely place to land in APT Land.

APT weekend, almost
We booked in anticipation of seeing a couple of APT productions. The weekend was uncomfortably hot for outdoor theater. Fortunately, the Glass House was fantastic. A very comfortable, beautiful home located in a gorgeous setting. The view from the back deck was stunning . We hope to stay here again.

Perfect House tucked away in Nature

Property is perfect for American Players Theatre productions. It is spacious, comfortable inside and out. Surrounding grounds are beautiful, full of wild flowers, quiet, scenic, with walkable paths leading to a stunning overlook. We have absolutely no negative comments at all.

We loved our stay at "The Glass House" near Spring Green! Comfortable accommodations nestled in a beautiful natural landscape. We enjoyed watching the sunsets, and visiting all that the area has to offer. Looking forward to staying there again!

A beautiful and serene house and grounds.
We stayed June 28-80, 2024. Four adults all fit very comfortably in this spacious home. It is really stunning architecturally as well as the grounds and gardens. When at the house, we spent a lot of time on the deck looking into the valley and watching the many varieties of birds. The wildflowers and prairie were also really lovely. The house is appointed better than every short term rentals I have stayed in including kitchen items as well as entertainment (games, books, etc.) The internet worked very well. The home is very secluded but only 15 minutes from theater and 10 to Dodgeville making trips quite easy. We highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
