"I was taken with the coolness factor of staying in a former factory, but underestimated the inconvenience of having no lobby, nowhere to sit while waiting for room, etc. No early check-in, no late check-out. The room was nice looking but freezing (probably the downside of the brick building. All in all I wish I’d stayed at a more standard hotel. "

"Place was disgusting. The room smelled really bad, bed sheets weren’t clean one of the pillows looked like someone was laying down there few minutes we got here. We called the “emergency number” and nobody answered. Next day we talked with the front desk to get our money back because I didn’t stay there he kept saying that the room they gave me it was under someone else’s name reservation. I’m still waiting for my money back! "

"We stayed over Christmas week and thoroughly enjoyed the place. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy family while in from out of town. 100x better than any hotel would have been during this time. So much natural light in the house! House was clean and warm, hosts were very inviting. Location could not have been better for our purpose. Overall the stay and the home were wonderful!"

"The property looks to be newly renovated and very nice inside. But because of the age of the property, those stairs are super steep. And for a bunch of ladies in their late 50s early 60s it was no joke going up and down them. The only other flaw was the heat disbursement in the house. Again, because it is an old home, the third floor bedrooms got super hot. But again, it is a beautiful home! "

"Our group of youth and adults loved staying in the Golden Goose! We had everything we needed for a comfortable and fun weekend. The hosts were communicative, and check-in/check-out instructions were more than reasonable. I bet it would be even lovelier in the spring and summer, to better take advantage of the outdoor space! My only note would be that this is not a great option if people in your group have mobility needs. There are a *lot* of stairs."
