Amazing
My husband and I enjoyed our weekend. Everything was perfect and the views were amazing! We are already planning our text trip up. We also recommend Smokey’s Restaurant and Tavern. The fried portobello mushrooms and pizza was amazing!!

Wonderful place to escape the city
Our family stayed over the Thanksgiving weekend. Beautiful big backyard. The view was just amazing & sunsets didnt disappoint. It was such a quite & relaxing place. The cottage was warm and very cozy. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our Thanksgiving dinner. (Super thankful for that! ) & our doggies loved their stay! Thank you Harley for sharing this great escape! We hope to return for another season ♡

Fall Getaway
We enjoyed a great relaxing fall getaway at the Hubbard Lake house. Pockets of vibrant color were starting in the area foliage. The home has a vintage flare but is well appointed with kitchen supplies, comfortable furniture and beds. Outstanding sunset views of the lake from inside and out. We also enjoyed a warm fire on a rainy chilly day. Our dogs enjoyed the yard and a sandy beach at Huron Park in Black River not to far away. Overall we had a nice relaxing stay and we hope to return in the future. Thanks!

Peaceful place
Perfect place to take retreat from busy life. Crystal clear water, beautiful pines, quiet neighborhood and gorgeous house completed with perfect sunsets. If you want to rewind, recharge body and a brain, this is a place to stay. My wife, our German shepherd and I, enjoyed perfect week staying at Whispering pines cottage.

cozy and relaxing
we had a wonderful and relaxing stay. Beds were comfortable and cabin was fully stocked with everything we could have needed. It was so nice to try the paddle boards and be able to take our family pets with us. Neighborhood was peaceful and friendly and safe to walk our dogs. We enjoyed some amazing sunsets. Communication and entry was easy to get into the cabin. Thank you for sharing your little get away with my family.

Long weekend getaway
Location was beautiful. House was in good shape but tv didn’t work. No problem. We spent time enjoying the ambiance and had a chance to unwind. Nice touch with the wine welcome. Wish the fishing was better though.

Very nice place to hang your hat
We stayed for 4 days and did some last minute ice fishing. The house was roomy with a fireplace with more than enough firewood. Beds were comfortable and the view was fantastic. I would stay again and if your looking for a summer vacation get a way this is the place.

The property was exactly as portrayed. Very well stocked with all necessities. Host were very helpful and friendly. The view from the kitchen sink had my wife wanting to do dishes all the time.😊

Great vacation
Did not turn on the TV once. Hiked; found some good restaurants in the area. Will come back but this time for more than one week. The fall colors were absolutely brilliant. The hosts were attentive and the house is just a great place to relax and read.

Wonderful cottage on Hubbard Lake
My wife, our 1 1/2 year-old Havapoo pooch, and myself had a wonderful stay at Whispering Pines cottage. The scenic location overlooking Hubbard Lake is beautiful and the cottage is surrounded by other impressive homes/cottages. The cottage was exactly what we were looking for with knotty pine paneling, comfortable beds, and other functional home furnishings and appliances. The cottage was clean and stocked with every convenience you would need for a successful multi-day visit at an Up North cottage. The communication with the owners was outstanding. Our experience was very enjoyable. We would definitely stay at Whispering Pines cottage again.

Summer get away
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Home was very clean, comfortable and met all of our needs. The location was perfect. We hiked, swam, kayaked and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Awesome Place for Respite and Retreat and Rest and Relaxation
We loved our time here. Mid April, the lake's ice was moving with the great winds! The pines on the land were wonderful. The location was Quiet, the neighborhood low key and sweet. Lake Hubbard is beautiful. The house was perfect for us in all ways. So comfortable. Nothing amiss. The shower was a godsend! The hosts were so fine, communications spot on.

Hubbard Lake Haven
What a wonderful haven for us. Easy location with all the amenities and comforts. The lake view was awesome! We hiked at the surrounding trails with our dogs. We loved having a fire in the fireplace! Easy closure stay details. Thank you Harley and Sarah! What a gem of a spot you have there for folks like us to enjoy as well as our mini dachshunds Clara and Charlie.

Hubbard Lake Long Weekend!
Had a great time very relaxing with peace and quiet. Nothing better than having a fire outdoors in February with awesome sunset’s! Saw plenty of wildlife deer, turkeys, eagles and plenty of squirrels. And I have to say the owner “Harley” went above and beyond in accommodating us. I asked about renting snow shoes and after he could not find any place to rent them. He purchased 2 pair and had them shipped to the house before we got there. I would go back in a second and I highly recommend staying.
