Anniversary turned evacuation Milt
Beautiful trip for anniversary planned. House is gorgeous and beds comfortable, house clean and host responsive to any need. Due to hurricane we had to evacuate our children here as well host allowed us to stay an extra day to safely get back. Thank you and we would come again for sure and hosts responsive to any need.

The penthouse was very well maintained & kept as a historic building, very spacious and cozy. Great amenities with spectacular rooftop views. Walking distance to main downtown strip and easy access to restaurants and museums. Awesome decor with huge master bathroom. Will repeat on our future trips.

Nice place, location suspect
Essentially several houses away from a homeless shelter, not disclosed. I would not have booked it for my guests (3 women in their 20's) had this been made known. Nice place though.

Overall very good
The location is extremely walkable for all historic and downtown activities. The particular neighborhood street is historic. There is a shelter of some sort up the street. So there are a handful of homeless people and those living in cars on the street. Some late night noise and groups of people wandering around.

Overall nice place. Both bathrooms off a bedroom which was okay as we had 2 couples, but if someone had used 3rd bedroom would have had to disturb others. Plenty of room, just suggest larger living room furniture. Easy walk to downtown restaurants and bars.

Great for family with one note
We absolutely loved this space! The only complaints I could find was there are 2 bathrooms, but both are in a bedroom. It’s uncomfortable for one bedroom that has no access to a bathroom without going through someone else’s bedroom at night. But the space is absolutely beautiful. Communication with the host was perfect and they sent out someone promptly when we had a small problem to correct it. We had a great time learning the history as well. Records should be replaced as they were all too scratched to use, but it’s a neat addition. Be mindful of the path you take to downtown to avoid the family center area where there are a good number of homeless if it bothers you. We went by it many times with no issues but could see how it could make some people uncomfortable. Would stay here again for sure! Thanks again!

Prime location, historic property
We really enjoyed staying at The Ray during our recent trip to St.Augustine. The location is perfect for walking everywhere you want to go and the rooftop patio is a great feature for views of the whole city. The hosts were excellent communicators and gave excellent suggestions for places to eat and visit.

A true gem!
We had an amazing time staying at The Ray Penthouse! The hosts were very nice and easy to communicate with and the penthouse looks exactly as it did in the pictures and is very spacious and clean. The private rooftop access is incredible!

Had a great stay at "The Ray".
The property was clean, quiet and safe. My family enjoyed the Penthouse with its excellent roof top views. The staff from day 1 was very responsive and answered all of my questions promptly.

great place to stay
the penthouse was such an awesome place to stay. the master bathroom was large and beautiful; the kitchen was nice and classy looking. the layout of the penthouse was great, but there was only one tv and it was in the main room (if that matters). the best part of the penthouse was the rooftop area; it was very relaxing and beautiful to sit up there in the mornings or late afternoons and look out over the city. the property manager was responsive and helpful.

Location easy walk to historic sites. Clean, large, well stocked, little extras. We loved the record player and game table and double shower! Roof top fun extra. Perhaps ambiant lights canopy or cushions would be nice addition.
