"Our stay was wonderful, easy check in and a nice location where is isn’t overcrowded. Lovely lodge and it was spotless. The hot tubs are also a nice place to be in. Will definitely be looking to stay again. "

"Had a great long weekend at the property. Had loads of stuff there to use the kitchen to its full potential. Was lovely and warm and everyone had plenty of space in the accommodation. We were able to celebrate Christmas with my mum who is going to Guatemala next month and won’t be there. A few tiny tweaks will make this a perfect let but already great as it is."

"We had a great stay using this as our base to explore part of the Lake District, easy access to lakes and many fells in one direction and to vast beaches a short drive away in the other direction. Loved the jacuzzi bath to relax in after a long day walking. We found the stairs to be steeper than we are acustomed to and also smaller treads, but a good hand rail for support when going to bed with tired legs. Wifi struggled a bit on occasions with demand when trying to stream something on TV and...

"I wouid recommend this property but would make sure other guests jnow there is nothing within walking distance and a car is needed to get ro the nearest pub/supermarket. The property was lovely but the blinds needed dusting, there were dirty towels in the washing machine and the laminate on the tables was taped up."
