Springtime at The Sungoddess

We enjoyed our short stay in your beautiful home. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need, except a sink drain stopper. No worries, we improvised by filling a large pot to wash dishes. The views were perfect and the location is within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, the lighthouse and park. Thank you again for a wonderful birthday weekend!

Lovely home, lovely owners. We loved a nice relaxing stay! Hard for us to find a nice beach to go to during spring break weeks and it wasn’t crazy at all, but location so easy to walk or ride to restaurants and grocery. Husband biked around and dogs loved it too. Super clean place and owners very responsive. Blue parrot about a block away and Paddy’s not a bad walk and even easier drive. Piggly wiggly well stocked and stop by Lynn’s in Eastpoint on your way over the bridge for fresh seafood! Recommend all. We’ve been coming to St. George for a while and loved this location! We rarely even want to go out bc the view is so pretty at the home!

Perfect Spring Break!

This is our 3rd time coming to St. George Island. We loved the house and location. My family had a great spring break. One of the nicer row houses on East Gorrie. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect stay; perfect place

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. Great condition. Steps to the beach, location couldn’t be better. Restaurants in walking distance. There was also a nearby seafood trailer (Doug’s) where we picked up fresh seafood for dinner most nights. Look forward to staying here again and making more amazing memories.

Great Getaway

This place was amazing. It was more space than we needed for just me and my husband (and our dog), but it is a great location and we really loved being able to walk out the back door and right down to the beach. This beach house had everything we needed.

Sun Goddess sums it up!

Great location and great property. Fit our needs perfectly within walking distance to everywhere! Upon check in we noticed a few things that cleaning crew had missed. Sent an email to property management folks and within a few hours all taken care of! The rest of the week was a blur. Good time had by all including our canine friends! Highly recommend this property.

It was exactly as described in the listing and more!

The property was cozy, well stocked and has a perfect layout for spending time with family and friends. The kitchen was very well equipped and the owners have provided everything we required. The property manager with Forgotten Shores (Jamie Rex) reached out to me personally to make sure we were all ok and if we needed anything after an overnight storm. My personal favorite was the swing on the below deck at night to just watch the stars. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful week with my family in a beautiful home that was so easy to book with no problems from the beginning to the end!!!

Had another great time at sun goddess! The property is in such a great location for dogs to use the grass at the lighthouse and the beach is right off your porch! The TVs are pretty outdated in the bedrooms and fan in master squeaks pretty loud! But amazing stay as always just wish they would upgrade some small things!

Location location location!

The property is in a great location on the beach with an easy walk to food and shops. The property is a bit shabby and could use updates on the fixtures (especially toilets and baths). The management company was very responsive even the day before a holiday to try and fix a broken bed frame. For the price, we expected it to be nicer inside, but the location was perfect for our needs.

Inaccurate Listing

The photos posted online were not the same as the actual house - it looked as if the photos posted online were taken recently after a renovation - and arriving at the house itself was very anticlimactic. The couch in the living room was broken and uncomfortable to sit on, lamps were falling apart, there were no curtains or sense of privacy in any room other than the master bedroom. Amenities were extremely limited (1 roll of paper towels, 2 total trash bags, no additional blankets, no laundry detergent, no beach towels, et al) Overall we really enjoyed our first trip to St George Island but the stay at the 'Sum Goddess' was underwhelming to say the least. We won't be booking this property on our next visit.

superb location and everything you’d want if you’re looking for a great location “on” the beach. couldn’t be a better location and the house is large enough to sleep 8, has wi-fi and all the amenities you need to make your stay comfortable. I would definitely book this property again.
